Do you want to drink booze while walking in-between bars, restaurants and shops then this is your place. It could be a tourist trap (okay frankly it is) but it looks like it could be a lot of fun for a night of bar hopping. I was here during the day and I sure saw a lot of people drinking... More

Walking to and from our hotel for dinner, we were continually stopped by panhandlers, even in front of the larger restaurants and especially in dark areas. Some were obnoxious and aggressive. No evidence that any of it is area is patrolled. There are lots of dark areas that didn't feel very safe. This area could be nice but it needs... More

We went for a run while waiting for our meal. We had over an hour before our table would be ready. So, we took the time to exercise. Running north along the river walk starting at the Guenther house is nearly three and a half miles. Round trip it was a very decent run and is also more touristy scenic... More

Since the flood, little has been done to repair the bridges or any of the trails effected. Still a lot of damage to the area as well as trash.

Since the floods in Minot the river walk is very disappointing, much of the trail is in disrepair. There is a lot of garbage in the river and on the banks, Chamber of Commerce needs to get on this and make improvements and repairs!

Great little park with a lot to see. Very calming walk and some wildlife but not a lot. Great benches to sit and enjoy the view. If you want some peace and quiet this is the place for you.

The river moved and destroyed much of the area. They were rehabbing some while we were there, so it may be better in the future

This river walk was far below my expectations. While I was not expecting anything like in San Antonio or other cities, this one is rather dull. The river is more of a creek, and is not particularly scenic, as the river banks are built up for flood purposes, with questionable water quality. There is some wildlife to see, especially during... This was something different! We walk every day, and here we saw some beautiful sights even though they are still cleaning up from the devestating flood, they are working so hard to get this and the zoo going! We saw two types of turtles in the river, cranes, geese and several types of ducks, herons and schools of fish, met... More
