Very authentic architecture made by Scandinavian tradesmen in the traditional, ornate, precise manner handed down for centuries. There are live people to provide information and background history, and there are random fun facts thrown in around the park as well as lovely grounds to enjoy....More

I stumbled onto this place. Was just looking for a place to get out and walk a bit. It's on Broadway but I almost drove by it. I noticed the wonderful buildings on display here and decided to stop. It is preserved and cared for...More

Beautiful buildings with exquisite details. Take a leisurally stroll past Scandinavian architectural treasures. A real treat for anyone of Scandanavian heritage. Be sure to check out the statue of Hans Christian Anderson. He's delightful with his long skinny torso and oh so long feet. This...More

So much to see! Old buildings and an authentic Scandinavian church. Lots of history in the park. They have plaques explaining everything as you go. If you are in Minot this is a must see!

This is one of my favorite parks to visit. First, it's beautiful. But, it also has such great character. It's fun to walk around and read about history/culture. It's not just an average park. Plus, the Visitors Center is at this same location so it's...More

Nothing interactive, but it's a cool place to see. I have enjoyed taking pictures of the scandinavian feel of it.

I visited on a summer Monday, not many visitors around. Weather was nice, not too hot. Thus my overall walk down the park was great. I'm amazed with the awesome retirees volunteering at the exhibits. I had a wonderful chat with two of them. Felt...More

We visited this on our way through Minot and on to Montana. I had been to this park about 15 years prior and wanted to see the changes they had made. It is pretty small but packs so much information into this lovely area. The...More

Based on photos we saw online before coming here, we thought the park was a lot bigger. It's actually quite small. However, the replica church was beautiful and the other small buildings were charming. Allow yourself about half an hour to visit everything. It was...More

There is no charge for the park or the visitor center. I do not believe there is a restaurant or cafe in the park. The visitor has a small shop that sell souvenirs and some mat have some drinks / snacks. The park is on a... More
