We visited this on our way through Minot and on to Montana. I had been to this park about 15 years prior and wanted to see the changes they had made. It is pretty small but packs so much information into this lovely area. The main church on the property was sent over from Norway and reassembled. It also has... More

Based on photos we saw online before coming here, we thought the park was a lot bigger. It's actually quite small. However, the replica church was beautiful and the other small buildings were charming. Allow yourself about half an hour to visit everything. It was definitely a nice free activity.

We were looking for activities happening in Minot during our stay and also where certain this were located. They were very knowledgeable about their city and where to find things.

Oh My Wow! This is a great little park! The Norwegian Stave Church is incredible! The church is certainly the main focus of this heritage park! It certainly is an incredible structure to have in the middle of Minot to honor the Norwegian heritage in this area. What a blessing! We found this park to be a great place to... More

This is a beautiful little park! Full of Scandinavian history. The docents that work there are very friendly and informative. Great place to have a picnic. There is a very nice visitor center here. We will definitely be going back!

We didn't know this beautiful park existed until we read about it while in Minot. There is a lot of history here, beautiful church, and a historical home where it has only two rooms but occupied by a large family.

Small but sweet - loved the replica of the Scandinavian church and other buildings. The colorful horse is huge and makes for a great photo opp. There were a lot of people at the park on a Saturday evening playing what i assumed was Pokemon Go because they all walked around aimlessly with their faces down looking at their phones.... This was a great stop in our weekend trip to Minot! The Gol Stav church was beautiful! Try and stop when it opens. We got a live tour and brief talk by one of the Volunteers.

The Scandinavian Heritage Park is worth a visit. It is conveniently located on the main route through Minot. The Church structure is amazing,. We were not able to go inside as it was closed however if the inside is anything like the outside it will be nice. The Church is A replica on ones that were constructed in Norway. The... More
