The best and largest ski area in whole world

My favorite ski area in whole world! We have about 600km of ski slopes and the snow is guarantee. The slopes are long and in good condition.

We spent five days in Les Trois Vallées over the New Year, and even though they were in the midst of a serious snow drought, the resort still managed to give the kind of generous skiing experience I would expect from a top ski area. Really, there are several areas to consider, and we spent most of our time on... More

The snow conditions weren't great in January - many areas were icy and a lot of manmade snow was used. However you cannot fault the variety of runs and the size of the ski area - I will definitely be returning as I didn't manage to see it all! I will also return in February/March when the snow conditions are... More

3 Valleys is an awesome ski resort with great runs for all levels. The views are amazing. It is very kid and family friendly with numerous kiddie training areas, mini-slopes, and terrain parks for all levels. The lifts connect well and a lot of them are the gondola types. We stayed in Brides les Baines because everything else was either... More

Why anyone would want to stay or ski in Courcheval or Meribel is a mystery, both are soulless, overpriced rip off resorts. Meribel in particular has erratic lifts, 30 minutes quesues and out of cointrol mainiacs on the slopes, some drunk and some who think they're immortal. By all means visits for the large ski area but save time by... More

This was my first visit to the 3 valleys. It's a vast ski area and the height gives it more snow security than lower resorts. It had snowed about a week prior to our visit but the season hasn't been brilliant prior to this. Conditions were apparently excellent the previous week. The pisting didn't seem to be to the same... Second time we've been to LTV - this time spent 6 days pounding piste after fantastic piste. The views were amazing and the snow conditions were great all week. The pistes are very well maintained and the lifts are superb with loads of capacity. There are loads of good restaurants, shops, hotels and bars. This is a great resort -... More

We have been skiing most of our lives and have never experienced conditions as terrible as the conditions that currently exist at the 3 valleys. A number of factors have combined to make this true: 1) the last big snowfall they had was in November 2016, since then, the snow has been melting and they have kept runs open using... More

Stayed in Val Thorens centre as part of our uni trip - pre-warning to any families that during the March/April uni ski trips the town centre can get loud and boozey - not an ideal atmosphere for a quiet holiday! Also on the slopes with the Aprés ski there is some questionably drunk skiing from students but this problem isn't... More

Stayed in the Coucheneige Hotel for a week in January 2016,the Hotel is located on the piste in 1850. I was waiting at the ski lift every morning for it to open at 0900 and was the first person at the top of the mountain most days.It was like my own private mountain for the first hour every day as...
