Massive disappointment. The Japanese garden is overshadowed by the horrible ponds filled with algae and standing water. Garbage has also been thrown into the ponds. It's such a travesty to see something that the Japanese gave blighted by these ponds.

Small, neat garden, lots of birds and turtles, does not take long to see it all. It smelled a little, nice stream with a bridge on the walking path.

This whole park is pleasant but the Japanese Garden needs help. There was garbage in the water, a huge amount of algae and it actually smelled. The water was clear where it slowly ran below the bridge but is getting choked with plant life that needs to be addressed. There were plenty of garbage cans under the nearby pavilions and the kids' playground looked fun. Please do something to clean up this formerly pretty place.

The Japanses Gardens are a nice place for a quiet area to rest and enjoy nature. The monuments, trees, and landscaping make for a beautiful sight. The gardens are located in the Sertoma Park which has picnic shelters, bathrooms, and a new playground area. A great place to bring the family.

My time at the Japanese Garden in Sertoma Park today was incredible! The autumn colors and the fresh snow from our Oct. 11-12th snow storm was most certainly breathtakingly beautiful! It was certainly one of the best experiences I have ever had at this wonderful park! Grand Forks is very fortunate to have a special place like this in our fair city.

WAs told about this park by a server in a restaurant. He gave us a painted rock to place somewhere in the park. Apparently folks go there and drop off and look for painted rocks. It was a gorgeous day in Grand Forks and we enjoyed a stroll through the park after eating. Parts of the park needed a clean-up, but overall it was enjoyable.

The Japanese Gardens are small, but pretty despite the algae growing on the lake. There is a really nice walkway, much of it shaded leading from the gardens, so it was a very pleasant 30 minute round trip.

We went here for our two year old to play. Nice green space and playground but that's about it. Not much for gardens, no flowers and a very shallow, algae pond.

Park has a nice play area to take younger kids. Nice concrete paths for walking and biking. Park is bordered by a gross, smelly creek. Only plant life are trees, grass, and an abundance of weeds.

We stopped in one afternoon as we were looking for something to pass the time. It is a cute garden but having been to other Japanese Gardens, we were expecting more.
