Great calm bay

We were here for a week with kids 9,7. Great beach with small playground and plenty of options of food, sport rental, swimming, snorkeling.

Great little bay, ideal for a day from the boat.

Great little bay, ideal for a day from the boat. Beautiful clear waters, easy to get to from around the Bay of Palma. Bouys to moor to and a rib service to the beach for a meal at one of the restaurants there. All together a great place to go.

Lovely beach in Sant Elm! Sandy, sunny and not very crowded! The village of Sant Elm is beautiful and picturesque as well. Worth a visit!

Beautiful views

Back in Sant Elm, second year running at this time of the year. Very surprised how few restaurants are still open. Many have closed down for the season already. Perhaps the state of the beach has meant fewer tourists. Shame because it’s a lovely little resort.

Its Okay, Better beaches hidden close by
Sep 2018 • Couples
Sant Elm is way off the beaten track and its a windy road to get there, typical med village and heavily orientated to tourists, the beach is average, mix of sand & shingle and very busy with tourists, although seemed ideal for family fun.
We found better beaches (although smaller) to both the left and right, they are a little hidden away, more shingle one way and more sand the other plus the water - sea quality is much better as well, more what you would expect and also by going this way you find a few more of the more discreet hidden restaurants all great.

Resort at the end of a road
Aug 2018 • Couples
Sant Elm is at the end of a road, which is a little twisty. Does not therefore cater to mass tourism, but it is a town for tourists rather than locals.

Beach is a mix of sand and shingle. Sea is pleasant enough to swim in.

No need to park in large public car park as you arrive in Sant Elm. Usually possible to find street parking at the back of the town.

It's not a resort that I would hurry back to.

Not somewhere to spend time
Aug 2018
We drove to Sant Elm from Port d'Andtratx to check out the ferry to Dragonera and had a look at the beach while we were there. Disappointing we thought, the beach is pretty small, no beds and parasols and the water wasn't as appealing as at other beaches. I personally would not recommend spending time on it.

Ruined our day!
Aug 2018 • Couples
We really enjoyed coming here last year, renting a couple of sun loungers and shade on the beach. Came back this year, parked up, walked to the beach and was greeted with shock. They have taken the sun loungers and parasols away!

Perhaps I could understand if it was a beautiful, golden beach and sand....but at best it is a slightly sandy, pebbley, gritty beach. Lying on the sand with the fag-ends and ice cream sticks, isn’t very appealing.

2 stars as it’s still a lovely little place. But please bring the sun loungers back!

Village atmosphere but big enough to offer lots of choice.

High end restaurants overlooking boats on moorings or mid range and fast food on high street. Reasonably priced apartments a short walk away from centre. Endless people and boat watching, including boats arriving and searching for anchorage or a mooring. One tip- the beach has great soft sand but there are very sharp rocks protruding as you walk out from beach. Buy some cheap neoprene swimming shoes for 10€ on the high street and give the toe stubbing walk a miss. Great destination if booted!

Pretty little village and beach

Sent Elm is one of my favourite destinations in Mallorca. Great restaurants and attractive beach. Worth a visit, although the mountain road to get there is narrow and twisty in places and there is limited parking.
