This resort is nice if you are wanting a resort with tourist places to eat and drink then this is the place. Not very Spanish, but it is lovely. We would go back again just for the swimming at the Egos beach. The beach is down a road off the roundabout at the top of the road; it’s clearly signposted. Walk down the road post 2 shops/restaurants, opposite the car park there are steps down to a beautiful beach with excellent clear water swimming and snorkelling. There are no bars there, just 2 hotels. Keep your eyes open for the Cormorants that visited daily when we were there!

We stayed at the rocamarina hotel. I think they own the beach beds on the very small beach. It’s a very tiny cove, small beach. 12€ a day for two sunbeds - it may be more if your not a guest at the rocomarina hotel. The resort is very small but very clean. A few bars and restaurants- bambu bar being the best value for drinks. A couple of spars. Restaurants and shops, drs and pharmacy- but that’s about it.

This beach makes you work hard to get there, especially if you park near to Port Andratx. We followed an online dog walkers route, and in hindsight, I would have driven up as far as we could, before walking down the track to the beach. Even then, there are two routes, one more direct than the other. The beach itself is nice, but very rocky. Because of its remoteness, it also attracts many boats. Also, beware of the jellyfish at certain times of the year. Worth the treck for the scenery though!

For a small resort this had lots going on. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, car hire etc. There is a small beach, reached by steps and did get quite busy, there is another called Cala en Pou which we preferred. It was a little bigger, had a bar/restaurant and toilet/outside shower facilities. Lots of sunbeds and parasol's to rent (5 euros for bed and 3 for parasol all day). Lovely for snorkelling as the water is so clean. Also caught the Starfish Glass Bottom Boat from here.
