I do recommend Fargo for a short getaway. A small city but full of museums, restaurants and a very good shopping mall with the cinema. Lots of fun!

This is a visitor centre that also has the wood chipper from the film Fargo. The staff are very welcoming, with plenty of information. There was also a cookies and craft sale on while we were there; it was a busy scene
