Very nice little zoo, We still had a great time walking the park and seeing the animals. We spent about 1.5 hrs in the zoo.

So happy we visited!
Jun 2021 • Friends
I love zoos and visit whenever possible while traveling. This was a wonderful place. It was fairly small but well kept and the animals looked healthy and happy.

Parking was easy and convenient. It was reasonable to get in. There was a carousel and playground for children.

There was an air conditioned building with seating for wolf viewing. There was a baby Bactrian camel that was adorable. The red panda was awake and eating. The sloth was sunbathing. There was a lot of wonderful animal viewing.

We had hot dogs chips and pop for lunch. There were picnic tables with umbrellas. Prices were reasonable and there wasn’t a long wait.

This is a great place if you have a few hours for a visit.

Nice stop in Fargo
Jun 2021 • Family
This little zoo was fun for the kids. The enclosures look clean and I like the layout of the zoo. This is a good way to spend an hour to an hour and a half in Fargo. The carousel was a lot of fun to ride with our kids.

Nice employees...not much animals.

Maybe it was the time of day or maybe they all ran away...but not many animals here. Still definitely worth the money...not expensive.

Small but nice zoo
Sep 2020 • Couples
They had good exhibits for the wolves, camels, & lynxes. The swift foxes were darling. The animals were pretty active because it was in the low 50’s.

Modest sized AZA member zoo in Fargo, North Dakota
Jul 2020
The zoo has free parking. Adult admission is $11.25 with discounts for seniors and children. As it is an AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) member, they give free admission if you hold membership in any AZA member organization. It is not very big. To encourage social distancing there are "one-way" paths throughout the grounds. I did manage to see Bactrian camels, a lynx, and eagles. It was a warm day and most of the animals, as usual, had enough sense to stay out of the heat. There is a good sized gift shop near the entrance/exit.

Nice Small Zoo
Jul 2020
This is a nice little zoo in Fargo. Parking is free, and there is an indoor carousel that kids would enjoy. It only takes about an hour to see everything. The admission even with a discount is pricey, but the grounds are very well kept up. I really liked the little prairie dogs.
