This is a nice, though small zoo. (No lions, tigers or bears) The largest animals we saw were the camels. They have a baby camel! The wolf pack was great, and we enjoyed the "wolf chat." Adult tickets are $9.75 and 1 - 2 hours...More

We really enjoyed this Zoo. There is plenty of parking in front of the small entrance building. The size of the entrance is deceiving because the grounds and walkways are pretty vast once you pay for admission. The entrance also has a Unique welcome of...More

We had a short window to fit the zoo into our trip but were determined to make it. We were the first ones in the door and the staff were friendly and quick. Once inside it was immediately clear to us that the zoo is...More

A lot in a little package and a small price to enter! Red River Zoo delivers for young and old. Took only a few hours to go through and enjoyed every minute. The Wolf den was great, as well as the Red Pandas, White Faced...More

Our favorite thing about this little zoo, was that some of the animals not only had the typical info placards by their enclosures, but also displayed their personal names given to them like Rollo the Armadillo, Titan & Zeuss the Hereford Hogs, etc. I guess...More

Some fun animals like camels and red pandas are here. Hourly zoo keeper talks are given on various animals too. Cute place to go for an afternoon visit.

I was lucky enough to be there when the animals were active, which was nice. The prairie dogs were very active. The weather was nice. It looks like there is room for the zoo to expand a bit if it wants to in the future....More

Visited later in day to see more of the nocturnal animals. Price not really great for small zoo. Exhibts that were open were very nice. Childrens area probably the best part of the zoo. We found too many animsls not on display.

We bought a year-long family membership this year to get the most out of our zoo. With a little one, it's tough to devote an entire zoo tour (even though the RRZ isn't huge, it's a lot to take in) but knowing we can visit...More

The Red River Zoo is very small. You can easily see the whole thing in 30 minutes. But, I would still encourage everyone to visit. The animals are well cared for, the enclosures are ample, and the grounds are beautiful. We swung by on a...More

We took our time and caught some of the talks. Also stopped for ice cream and I’m sure we were there a good 2 hours.

I don't see why it would pose a problem. The staff is very friendly and accommodating...I'm sure it would be fine.
