This is the smallest zoo I've ever seen! But it was big on quality and I am so glad I spent time there. Staff is very friendly, the grounds are clean, neat and lovely. The animal... read more

It's a small zoo but the layout is great and the variety of animals is good for its size. Able to get close to the animals and the mini farm where you can buy food and feed the goats is a big hit with the kids. Ride the classic carousel for only $2. Price of admission is very affordable for... More

My son and I went to Red River Zoo for my b-day as something fun to do together on vacation. I checked out the website beforehand and it sounded great with a lot of varieties of animals to see and explore. It was much smaller than described and only about 1/4 of the animals were present that had been stated... More

This is the smallest zoo I've ever seen! But it was big on quality and I am so glad I spent time there. Staff is very friendly, the grounds are clean, neat and lovely. The animal habitats seemed well thought out and well maintained. Three camels in three different colors were worth seeing. They are rather large! Children's zoo/farm was... More

Great little zoo. The biggest animals they have are camels and wolves but it is still a nice zoo. They have a new kids area that was fun.

We had a very nice time at the zoo. We were very pleased with the low price of admission and concessions at the zoo. We were really impressed with the petting zoo with the play areas and gardens.

We live near here so we buy a membership every year. The best part is the membership gets you repository free admission and half off into many zoos. I think Watertown SD zoo and Souix Falls SD are free with the membership. If you are traveling thru it is a small zoo that is well kept with a new kids... More

Each of the grandchildren had their favorite animal and we all went on the Merry-Go-Round. It was a fun day. nice to be out in the sunshine and fresh air. We shopped at the gift store on our way out. The boys bought snakes (stuffed) and our granddaughter bot a stuffed Sloth.

Our family loves visiting zoo's. Most of the animals were unable to be seen. Probably due to the hot weather. If you've never been here and have time to kill it's worth a visit.

We have been visiting this zoo for the past few years after purchasing a membership each year. For our family, it is the best bang for our buck to do this since 3 visits pay for the membership. We have also utilized other zoos that are part of the membership making it an even better deal. Truth be told, this... More
