This beach is rather small but very clean and tranquil. It you are stuck for time I would say to visit other beaches before this one but still worth a visit as a photo stop.

Went to Hamnavoe on a sunny day which obviously helps but the harbour was lovely and the view over smaller islands was great, especially from a bit higher up in the village. Mrs Inkster from Fetlar is a most welcoming proprietor of the village shop...More

Hamnavoe is a tiny village on the west coast of Shetland. Small harbour and toilets. Meal beach is lovely with golden sands down a 300m pathway from the carpark.
