1hour 30 min Segway Tour through Penang

A penang Segway tour resembles an average walking tour, except for the part where you don't walk but ride a Segway through the city and explore popular heritage sights with a Professional tour guide and a Safety Marshall. it's a fun way to see the city, embrace its uniqueness, cover more ground in less time and avoid sore feet. You can glide through the whitewashed colonial buildings with a segway alongside gleaming mosques, temples, churches, labyrinthine alleys and all the sites that most tourists come to experince them self . Life in Penang is a rich blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian, Peranakan and European influences. Heritage isn’t confined to museums and can be found thriving along the city’s five-foot ways – thus providing a vibrant living celebration of George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage status. You’ll experience a spirit of authenticity and joy in its traditional festivals, stunning architecture, spontaneous street art and old-world charm.

Entopia is located in Teluk Bahang area. The sight of the building boasts modern-eco architecture. The establishment is not massive, but of just nice size. They do provide free parking on site but it's quite limited. The admission ticket priced at MYR 49.00 to Malaysian adult with id card to be shown during the purchase. I didn't remember the ticket price for other categories. You see wonder once you passed the entrance. Butterflies fly everywhere. The main area look like a massive glass dome. It basically hosts a few gardens with waterfall in the centre. They exhibit reptiles and insects too. Towards the end of the exhibition, there is a souvenir shop. I love the butterfly frame! It's a great place overall.

We went here as it was closer to our hotel area. Overpriced for Mykad holders too, we paid RM49 each. I felt its poorly maintained at certain area especially the duck and komodo lizard compartment. Poor komodo lizard looks very hungry and wasnt fed well :(
