Visited monkey beach on 31 Aug 2020 and 27 March 2021. Both trips were amazing! Probably due to MCO, the beach is so clean and beautiful, no crowd at all. There are so many shell species and sea creatures on the beach during low tide around 6pm. we saw octopus, jelly fish, hermit crab, mud crab etc. We even caught kappa back for dinner! also hiked up to the Light House too. It was simply relaxing and amazing!

Monkey beach definitely is the famous beach you want to visit in Penang National Park. You need to walk around 1 hour from the main gate. Once arrive, you need to take care of your stuff since there is a lot of monkeys. But the way, you have a chance to do some activities there. For example, water game is provided. Besides, there are areas for camping, you simply have to bring your own tent. Monkey beach is a place that I will return to soon as it is beautiful. Recommender to spend at least one night there with the dreamy sunsets and the liberating murmur of the jungle.

Probably the worst beach I have ever seen. The original beauty of the beach was destroyed by small cafes and bars.
