The North Dakota Heritage Center opens up the history of North Dakota in a way that is fascinating, beautiful, informative and fun! There is no charge to go through it (although a good will donation is accepted) and the gift shop has some really cool items! Well worth your trip!

This was always a great place to go when our kids were little... But now that they are older it's an even better place to go! Such a beautiful building, with all the updates and new displays this is a top notch "Museum" to visit!

Recently we spent about 2 1/2 hours with two grandkids touring all the exhibits in the Heritage Center. There are so many themes that it would be hard to believe if someone would not find at least one special thing of interest. It is so well worth one's time.

We enjoyed the variety and very well done exhibits. 1 1/2 hours was not enough time. There was enough to see that we could easily spend 1/2 day. The gift store had some very nice crafts from locals and a very good selection.

Really enjoyed our visit here. Three main portions cover everything from dinosaurs to Indian affairs to early settler days through to the present day. Only problem was that we did not allow enough time to really do it justice. So much to see!
