This was my boyfriend and I’s first time attending a SUP tour and we had a blast! We attended the 9am tour so the water and weather was absolutely perfect. Our tour guide Tristin was awesome! He was very helpful and personable. We ended up seeing a dolphin and stingrays during our tour which was pretty neat. I would definitely recommend the SUP tour if you’re in the area and make sure to request Tristin.

The instructor was very kind and taught in detail. The kids loved it so much that they wanted to ride it again next time. Since I was wearing a life jacket and a safety line around my ankle, it wasn't too dangerous, and the instructor guided me well, so I enjoyed the padded board safely and happily. I would like to recommend it to others as well.

We had a fantastic 2 hour stand up paddle board experience. We saw some cool sites and enjoyed the water. Our guide was amazing - so nice, encouraging, and knowledgable. I cut my hand on a clam shell and she literally gave me the shirt off her back to stop the bleeding! We will definitely book again.

Brooke was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Really enjoyed our SUP rental! Very straightforward and relaxed experience. Paddled to some little islands saw turtles, herons, and all kinds of wildlife. So pretty. Will be coming back next time I’m visiting :)

My daughter and i had a great time during our first paddle board lesson with Courtney. Courtney took us along Banks Channel to a little beach along the channel near the marshland. Courtney's a great teacher, is very professional, and made the whole experience lots of fun! ,

On vacation and wanted to take a paddleboarding lesson. Called many places and couldn't get an afternoon lesson. Heard many excuses with it being to hot, to windy, and tide not right. Called Cape Fear Paddleboarding and talked to Jason. He took my information, checked the conditions, and called me back. He found an instructor, "Steve", and set it up for 5pm - 7pm. Steve was excellent!! We had a blast. My son, daughter, and I are now masters of paddleboarding. Thanks Steve and Cape Fear Paddleboarding.

My wife Tracy and I did SUP at Motts Channel area of Wrightsville Beach. It was a 1.5 hour lesson and tour of the area on the paddleboard.
The part we like the best was Alysia, her covering the fundamentals, willingness to listen and challenging us to work hard. The part we liked the least was that our lesson was at 11am and the winds had picked up. For beginners, I would recommend the early morning so the only challenge is the current, not the winds.
We should have brought a camera and taken photos, but it was a great workout.
The entire event will not last longer than 2 hours, very informative and a great workout.

My adult daughter and I took a lesson with Steve on a quiet Friday morning. Steve was a fun instructor who gave us the basics we needed to get started. Neither of us had been on paddleboards before. She is athletic and had no difficulty standing up and paddling. I, on the other hand, fell into the water on my first try at standing up. I spent the trip sitting down and paddling and had a great time Steve made sure I kept up and provided guidance when I needed it. My paddling and navigating improved significantly over the course of the lesson. The water was calm and the temperature was in the 80's. It was a perfect day We plan to do it again next year..My only suggestion is that I might have tried standing up again if Steve had urged me to give it another try.

We had a party of nine with different levels of swimming ability, balance and age range from 5-72. Some sat and paddled, some kneeled, the rest stood. Everyone had fun and 3 said they want boards for Christmas!

My husband and I took a paddleboarding lesson with Nolan. He was a great instructor. We went on the morning excursion, so it wasn't too hot yet. It's a lot of fun, and I felt confident in my abilities by the end of the lesson. We would definitely recommend it!
