My family went to the fair on her birthday October 5 and it was good but unfortunately too much walking around. If you have a chance go check out Hypnotist- Brad Machett Show because why we wait for it to start Sweet Caroline came on and everyone started to sing it. You don’t want to miss it. Don’t see the lumberjack because that was boring and not worth the time due to terrible seat. Skip the grandstand because it not really worth for loud sounds. I know Dixie classic fair is going to change but I think a perfect pick will be Carolinas classic fair. Both North and South Carolina is pretty good states to come to visit the beach to the mountain.

My sons and I came here for two arcade auctions that they had here and also found our way over to the open market and the pig racing stadium. Definitely a cool space for interesting events.

My husband & I bought tickets to attend our first Carolina Thunderbirds Hockey game last week held in the W/S Fairgrounds Annex bldg. As they say, you really have to be there to get caught up in all the excitement, hear the electric music that plays all during the game! It was a pretty full house as the Thunderbirds played the Mentor Ice Breakers on Old People Rule Night! The various entertainment that goes on in between the quarters is truly enjoyable if you don't know what's coming. The Throw the Puck game was out of this world! Watching the guy work that zamboni to the tune of "Ice, Ice Baby" was a sheer delight! All in all, other than being cold as a wiz inside the building, we had a great time! Glad that the Thunderbirds won - 3 to 1.

Staff was very friendly. Nice area for parking. Seating was good, area to stand closer to stage. Chose seating since my son was with me. Facilities was clean and there was plenty of security.

Enjoyed country summer concert series in the fairgrounds annex. Great location for a concert. No bad seat in the facility. Just the perfect size to make you feel closer to the artist.
