One of the best places to visit. The home is outstanding and impressive. The gardens are beautiful, and Reynolda Village is charming. Georgia O'Keeffe exhibit should not be missed.

My wife and I visited the gardens at Reynolda House and I must say they were lovely. The roses were in full bloom and smelled great. We spent several hours walking around the gardens and shopping area.

Where to visit first (12 Replies)
Travelling from Asheville we plan to visit both both Reynolda House museum of American Art and Old Salem (South main St.), before we move on to our hotel for the night in Greensboro. Which one would it be easiest to visit first, or doesn't it matter?

Honestly, it really won't matter. They are only 10 minutes from each other. However, I'm assuming you're coming I-40, so you could go the Reynolda House first, then over to Old Salem. Old Salem is right next to the interstate, so it's an easy and quick turn back onto the interstate & on to Greeensboro. You will love both of these places! Very interesting and fun to visit!
