The history of this church seems to hang in the air, especially, when it is lovingly festooned with natural greenery and holiday decor. Try to visit when a volunteer is stationed there to give you an overview and answer questions.

Old world meets the new. Peek into the past of one of the many undervalued immigrant communities in the US. That of the German protestant church.

We were greeted and welcomed by very many people. A few even shared their stories of finding this church themselves.

We really enjoyed the service, a tradition started over two hundred years ago in Germany. The weather was cooler but manageable and the sunrise was matched by the church bands playing and people having a truly spiritual experience.

A unique and memorable experience attending any service here in the church. You're always treated as an honored guest. You won't see anything like this anywhere else. Worth a visit.

Home Church and God's Acre are "staples" of any visit to Old Salem. While Christmas and Easter are prime visiting seasons, any time at all is a GREAT time to walk around and take in the sites.

This church has gorgeous stained glass. It was a nice respite from the heat of the day to walk in and just sit and take it all in. The simplicity of the church is charming.
