I've been here a couple of times with friends. Recently we went to enjoy the Scottish gathering.

There was a food truck (Mommiez) that took forever to get our food - one person working the food truck. There was live music and of course beer!

I'm not a beer drinker, so I had a glass of wine with my lunch, an excellent curry chicken salad on a multi-grain bread - a hefty portion of chicken . Friends enjoyed the variety of beers on hand and their lunch too.

Someone from the Scottish 'club' had haggis for those willing to try it. I had a tiny, tiny, tiny taste. Yuck!! I can eat pretty much everything but won't try haggis again.

Will be back tomorrow for the Oktoberfest (2 Oct 2021)!

We went on ribbon cutting day and were greeted by one of the owners. The location makes you a little unsure of what you are walking into.... But think of it as a hidden treasure. There is ample seating near the bar and a nice set-up in the live music area. All four of us got flights, and the beer was good nothing too bitter! Of course we got follow-up pints. We've been to several breweries in Wilmington and Waterline is in a tie for number one!

I recently bought a Pressurized Growler and went to Waterline Brewing to have it filled. The bartender was very helpful since I had never used it before. I got the Kolsch it was very good. I''d like to return sometime and try some of their other beers.

Glad you enjoyed it, our Kolsch is our most popular but we've got lots of others both flagship and seasonals! We'll see you soon!

In times of unknown certainties due to COVID 19 we love to visit new places and support local business. This was a Thursday night with well over 12 cars in the parking lot. This was close to closing time roughly 17 minutes within closing time. The business had all the necessary signage letting us know they where following local government requirements at this time. They had an exterior bell set up before you entered the business which we rang and waited several minutes before anybody approached the door. As the young lady approached the door she glanced at her watch. When she opened the door I made a comment that we just made it and would like to sit inside. When she opened the door we went inside and she looked around as every table was full and I’m assuming was looking for somewhere for us to sit. I made the comment that we only had plans for a few beers and was thankful they decided to seat us. She began talking with another lady whispering amongst each other and turned around and made a comment along the lines of they didn’t really want us their and didn’t have time for our business. It’s clear they are doing well enough to not need any business. Very rude and I’m wondering if they would have any time for any business not close to closing time. We waited a few minutes in the parking lot getting closer to actual closing time and nobody was rushed out of the business due to the time. It’s unfortunate we didn’t get to try their beer but if it’s anything like their service I wouldn’t waist my time. Try Wrightsville Beach Brewery or Waterman’s Brewery which we visited earlier in the day and the beer was great and food was even better. Good luck Waterline hope you survive these uncertain times.

Hi Chimneyguy, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience. During the current pandemic re-opening Phase 2, we have limited seating, limited staff, and limited hours...and like every other service industry establishment our overall business is lower. But we also work hard to make people feel safe while trying to help everyone have a semblance of normalcy by keeping with our traditions of friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, dog friendly establishment with great beer, live music and food trucks. We also recognize that drinking craft beer is very much a social experience and many of our customers enjoy long conversations over brews...and because we do not want to rush customers through their beers we quit seating new customers somewhere around fifteen minutes before closing and also close the taps while allowing current customers to finish the beers they already have. I'm sorry this came across as negative or rude, it certainly was not intended to be such, and I sincerely hope you'll come by a little earlier in the evening next time and give us another chance!

I write this review as a regular customer in praise of this inclusive, friendly, and delightful drinking establishment, And the beer is very good. Important things to know: All ages, from babies to oldsters, are welcome. So are well-behaved dogs. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating. A variety of live music. A steady schedule of food trucks. Board games, but no TV.. Original art. It often blends in charitable events, hosts a weekly farmers market, and occasionally hosts discussion groups on community issues. But it best quality is the friendly atmosphere created under the direction of the diminutive proprietress Ms Eve who appears to be everywhere at once, creating laughter and good cheer.

It was a beautiful day, and we didn’t go for beer. We wanted lunch after the movies so we sat indoors. I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich with mixed vegetables. The vegetables were zucchini, carrots, squash and red onions. They were sautéed to perfection! I ate every bit of it. The sandwich had a large amount of shrimp, with lettuce, tomato and remoulade sauce and it was love at first bite. My husband had a smoked bacon sandwich and he enjoyed it . Their portions are generous so come hungry.
I could see this place becoming a favorite if I lived in the area. The food was good to the last bite. A shout out to Tori for great service. Nice brewery visible as you enter in. If I am ever in the area I will be back.

Great IPA, per Dan, and a good list of options for a Belgium beer drinker.

We came in a Thursday night for bluegrass and local crafts. Fun atmosphere! Did I mention a food truck?

Lastly, if you’d like to rescue a Siamese cat there is a colony of strays a block away.

My wife and I went with friends and had a relaxing informal evening. The setting is basic and casual. Multiple beer sampling options. We tried the 2 of the 4 ounce samplers with 4 beers. Kolsh was the favorite although several runner's up. There is no food inside but a food truck was right outside. The live music was a little loud. There is also an impressive art gallery. Family friendly and several cute well behaved dogs. But come for the beer, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed a great time with co-workers @ the first OctoberFest. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but really did enjoy two Ace Pumpkin Hard Cider. There were two food trucks and LOTS of people. Great place to "hang out."

Great renovations in this old furniture factory. Have to add it to your brewery tour in Wilmington. Friendly staff and good beer flights.
