Great gardens, loved the frogs

A very fun afternoon in August but a warm day. Still gorgeous especially all the frogs and the wine bottle arbor. Will go back in the spring. Great gift shop.

Very peaceful spot and well-maintained garden. This is not a big, showy garden, at least not when we were there last week, but it has a very serene vibe. We enjoyed the butterfly house, and the champion live oak tree is spectacular. Worth a visit, especially on a cloudy day.

Such a beautiful place! We visited the Airlie Gardens on a very hot day but the views were worth it! The tram was a welcome sight after wandering through the gardens. Be sure to check out the Airlie Oak, Pergola Garden and Bottle Chapel. They were setting up for a wedding on the day we visited. The wedding was going... More

This manicured garden is steeped with Southern tradition and history. The spring blooms of every color will brighten your day. Take a picnic lunch and blanket and sit under the boughs of the Airlie Live Oak whose branches have been shading that spot for over 400 years. This isn't just a Spring garden, Airlie is an every season garden.

Something to do on a not-beachy day. Overcast days are actually the best for taking pictures of botanicals, so it was perfect weather for my formerly-pro photog husband to get some nice shots. The walk around on the path is about a mile, so not too strenuous. And there's a tram that comes by regularly if you don't want to... More

They seem to have expanded from the last time I went to the Gardens. I like their Christmas set ups as well as their other attractions, but this past visit for August was a treat!

I personally love the Bottle Chapel-the colors, recycling materials, the reminder of where I got married; opportunities for unique pictures abound throughout the gardens. It's pretty at Christmas during Enchanted Airlie and equally pretty throughout the seasons. This year, I adored the Ribbit Exhibit. My son enjoyed searching for all the frogs and got a prize upon completion of our... More

I have visited Airlie three times in the last 12 years, Each time has been as refreshing as the last. I am always there in early April, so the plants and bushes are just bursting with new growth. Worth the trip and great for photogs.

Really amazing and different gardens! They had a pergola and butterflies are just everywhere flying around constantly! Glad we stopped here on our trip! I wouldn't go out of my way to go here though but because it was convenient it worked out great!

It is hard to evaluate Airlie Gardens without comparing it to Magnolia Plantation in Charleston SC. On its own it has pretty views, and is is a nice way to spend a few hours, in the spring or fall. However by comparison it, is just average.
