Went on a Saturday night with some friends because it was the first place that popped up when I googles "karaoke in wilmington" and we were already Down Town. This place is hidden among the other shops and bars on the same street. We showed up about 10:30pm and no one was singing anything so we thought we were at... More

Went in for some kareoke one evening. The bartender Roger was rude, only wanted us to order, and get going. We had fun singing and reminiscing with others, when it came to tab out, it was only rudeness and him taking cafe of his intoxicated friend more than us, who we had been harassed by. Very fun by the other... More

My husband and I have recently attended our second attendance at a performance at the Browncoat. Theatre is not my favorite medium, but the two events I have attended here make me want to return again. It's the uniqueness and attitude of the entire experience. It starts from being greeted at the door as though you are a welcome guest,followed... More

We were greeted by Jamie at the moment we walked in. Then had to stop and soak up the unique atmosphere. Half Pub and Half Theater. Very Cool. Aaron came in to host Karaoke and we had a blast. They use the theater stage for the karaoke and it is so much fun. They also host plays and comedy shows,... More

I've been coming to the Browncoat regularly for a few weeks now, it's been such a nice atmosphere each and every time. It's apparently under new management, they seem to be making big changes. Every time I walk in it looks a little different. Me and my friends love the karaoke, and with the theatre seats there's enough for all... More

We attended a comedy-magic show and had a ball. We didn't even mind getting picked on once or twice.

While researching things to do in Wilmington last weekend, I found an announcement of a hypnotist show at the Brown Coat Theater. Gary Conrad was the hypnotist. My husband and I decided that it might be a fun evening, so I called the theater about tickets early the next morning. Getting no answer, I decided not to leave a message... More
