Kids like the animals

This place is bigger than it looks from the road, and my young kids liked it. It's not as exciting as a big city zoo, but they have an ok variety of animals for Wilmington. The... read more

I have been to a lot of zoos up and down the coast and their are a lot of very poor zoos in Florida but this one is very nice and you can tell the folks that own it care about animals I know this for a fact because I donated my macaw I had for 6 years to them... More

The Zoo looks small from the road but it is a lot bigger in the inside. Lots of great animals to see. Our family had a wonderful experience.

This is an ok zoo . It is small and limited animals . Lots of monkeys . Peacocks, ducks roam around free. Worth the money just to check it out.

This is the saddest zoo i have ever visited. The enclosures are far too small and every one of the animals looked miserable. My family and I couldn't even finish walking through because of how sad it was. I would not recommend this zoo to any animal lovers. I regret giving them any money whatsoever. I will not be coming... I have been to this zoo many times and have never been disappointed. The enclosures are clean and the animals seem to be cared for. They have a museum of "Ripley's" type items just to the right after you enter the zoo. There are small gum vending machines with corn or the food for that particular animal that you can... More

I was pleasantly surprised how really cool this zoo was. I initially thought it would be small and boring but I was so wrong. I have to bring the grand kids when they visit again.

From the street, it doesn't look as big as it is. There were many more animals to see than anticipated. Very cool were peacocks walking around the park as they pleased, you could go right up to them. Some of the animals were alone which made me sad. It was very hot, and I worried about the animals. They actually... More

Visited here with my family and a nine year old friend, we had a blast! We were highly impressed with how neat and clean the facility and the grounds were. The animals appear willcare for. It had to be the most beautiful Zoo we had ever visited.
