Fun to paddle in the river. The shore birds are plentiful. Yes one can see an aligator too. The fishing is great

We ate at one of the restaurants on the river front. Then we took an evening cruise on the Cape Fear. It was a great way to spend the evening... More

A variety of tour groups offer trip on the Cape Fear River. Most of the ones you can fins in a simple internet search will provide a nice trip and background information about the waterway and it's history. The companies offer different boat types and different amenities so the pick the one that you think sounds the most interesting.
