Best theater with lounging love seat and massage chairs are coming soon!

Such an authentic experience and so much fun! We loved it so much that we have annual Movie Lounger VIP passes and we love the perks of being VIPs at the BRML! I have attended a private party with a cool movie showing and also reserved the theater to show a movie to my class. I can’t wait to rent it for my sons in law to play a few video games there!

Best way to watch a movie. . . Especially musicals!

We have enjoyed movies at the Blue Ridge Movie Lounge so much, that we purchased VIP Movie Lounge passes. Zach and Kristell, along with their baby, sweet Feby have created a comfy lounge to enjoy movies. You can take a blanket and sit on a recliner and enjoy Movie and popcorn! You can even have dinner delivered from Bobby D’s and enjoy dinner and a glass of wine!

Best place to see a movie
Jul 2019 • Family
While planning our vacation my wife found this place on line. She said that we could take the kids to the movies. I said that we could do that at home. Then she showed me the place. After seeing it, I just had to go. It has that Stars Hollow movie theater feel, The service was beyond excellent. We watched Spider Man and it wasn't crowded at the 4pm showing. My wife and I sat on the love seat together. If it were closer to home, I would never go to a regular theater again.

Loved It!
Jun 2019 • Couples
What a great way to see a movie. We went to see Rocketman. Sat in a soft, leather love seat and drank local wine. Why give the big box theaters your $12 for the movie and another $25 for snacks? Go to Blue Ridge lounge for a $6 ticket, some $6 wine and support "the little guy" .

We loved the concept of assorted recliners and couches and love the idea of our dollars going into the local pockets. Sound and screen quality were fantastic.

We will be back on our next trip to the area...for sure!

Thank you for supporting us :) Hope to see you again on your next visit. We have a second screen now too and drinks on tap! Oh and guess what? Side two now has reclining massage chairs!

This is a small independent movie lounge with one screen run by a really nice couple that shows first run films, classics and indies. They call themselves a lounge because it's all about the experience of coming to the movies. It's a small intimate place with 25-30 couches and recliners and a huge screen for the space which is 16 feet long and 6 feet tall. They have the latest digital projector, dolby surround sound and and handicap accessible, visual and hearing friendly. They also have a selection of 13 unique drinks like Peach NiHi, Blue Razz, Orange Cream, Cheerwine, etc. I like that they stock an assortment of local adult beverages too. They've got Molley Chomper Hard Ciders and Thistle Meadows Winery and a bunch of other cool drinks. My husband really liked the El Diablo shot which is a white wine shot but half of the grapes were replaced with jalapeños.

I really like the atmosphere. It's super cozy and chill. The building was built in the 1920s and they tried to preserve as much of the original building as possible. One of the walls is concrete and painted a deep red, the other is an old 1920s metal tin which they painted black and looks super cool. They've also got these red curtains that add a fun movie going experience. It separates the lobby and the seating area. So when they close the curtains it feels like you're going to a show.

They get a lot of feedback from the customers on what types of movies to watch so if you live near by or vacation there make sure to tell them the types of movies you'd like to come see.

This place is also available for rent for any kind of event. They have a playstation 4 so you can even rent it out to have a smash brothers party, or bring in a DVD or stream netflix.

The prices are super reasonable and they've got tons of specials all throughout the week. Every Monday is Family Day so it's just $4 all day long all ages. Every Tuesday they have Senior Day for anyone who is 50 years old and up for just $4 all day and a senior combo for $3.50 of a small popcorn and a drink. My parents were big fans of this. Every day their first show of the day is always $4. They are open 7 days a week and have 5 shows a day. So they do 3 matinees and the prices is normally $6. Their two night shows are $8 for adults, $7 for student discounts and $6 for kids 9 and under. I can't think of a better deal for movies on the big screen with super comfy couches.
