Upon arrival at the course my expectations were high. This area of our state is known for top end good courses. When we arrived I noticed that there were many golfers at the course for okay which was encouraging. Staff was very friendly and informative. Off to the putting green which was in very good shape and much larger that the actual greens on the course. Throughout the round we are treated to a very enjoyable round. Not wide open but not too tight. Greens were a bit hard which makes for more of a challenge and rolling. Would visit again for the price we paid.

I think every hole was up hill...lol. very nice layout, lots of water and sand. Greens ruled true (a little slow) but they are bent grass in the south. Friendly staff. Lunch and two beer included. Great wait staff

Seven lakes is a nice semi private course that our friend is a member of. Fantastic deal of 18 holes of golf, cart, breakfast and lunch and 2 drinks! Golf course was a little wet but greens were very good. Very enjoyable round and couldn't beat the price for this whole package deal. Would definitely like to,play in warmer and drier conditions .

Played several times, nice course and good value. Biggest problem I've had there is how bad everything gets backed up. I've once spent over 5 hours only to make it to hole 15 because of the players ahead of us. Had to quit and go home. Tried booking online, couldn't get any times. Tried calling 4 times to two different numbers. Someone would pick up the phone then hang it up. I've seen complaints about their customer service but wow, they act like they're the only golf course around here. Never going again. I guess if you want business to slow down, you're doing a great job management!

Michael C, I apologize for the experience you had trying to make a tee time both online and by phone. There's a good chance that we were closed a (for a few days during and after aerification). We had a glitch in the online system during that time not allowing tee times to be made - and the phone system were not routing calls to a Voice Mail. Again my apologies. I'm glad to help you by making sure that your next experience with us is exceptional - if you'll give us a chance to do that. Glad to provide you with my e mail address if you prefer to go that route to contact me. jwhittemore2000@gmail.com Best to you, Jon

Golf course was in OK shape. Greens are very small. We had group of 4 on golf package and to our surprise we received free lunch with two beers. That was an extra benefit to golfers which is a nice touch.

I joined an old group of friends who were coming in from out of state for a golf trip. I’m an local who is a member of the Seven Lakes Loyalty Club.

My local senior weekend rate is marketed at $37 on their website. Since the tee times were booked by the out of state visitors, I was charged $55. Tried to reason with the guy in the clubhouse... but “too bad that what the tee times were booked it” he said.

That will be my last visit ... too many other nice courses in the Pinehurst area.

Terrible customer service !!!

Mr. Goodwin, We're sorry for the misunderstanding regarding your green fees that day. As is common in the Pinehurst area, we have several different Player segments with different restrictions and rates. That's how we're able to extend our Loyalty Club members such attractive local rates - by selecting access times and providing a shorter booking windows - of 7 days...since booking windows are typically less important to locals than to traveling golfers who are in from out of the area. The group you played with on Sunday was booked on January 15th - for the planning convenience of this out of state group. The rate was agreed upon with the person who arranged the tee times - and based on still very attractive package rates. We're happy that a couple of locals were added/substituted in order to round out the groups...and I think that's where the misunderstanding occurred. We're sorry that this wasn't understood/explained before you arrived... we make efforts to communicate clearly what our players can expect. That's important to them - so it's important to us. When you have an expectation of paying one rate then finding out day-of that you're group arranged to pay something different - that's not a good feeling - but was completely unintentional. Please give Mike Dooda a call at the club and he'll see that you're well cared for in your next experience at Seven Lakes. And we appreciate the feedback...helpful to us in our effort to make Seven Lakes the best golf option in the Pinehurst area for locals and out of towners alike. Jon W

Want to try a really nice, challenging golf course set in a beautiful setting AND get a great deal ?? Then you have to try out this opportunity. Where else can you get 18 holes of golf, a cart, range balls, free lunch and a couple of beers for under $30 ?? And, if you show up after March 1, throw in a breakfast buffet for free. Don't forget the "frequent flyer" points you get for every round ... you can change them in for free golf balls, hats, shoes, and bags. Greens are in great shape ... as are the fairways, even in the winter ... plenty of water and sand to challenge you. Can't say enough nice things about this course ... be sure and give it a try ... you'll be back.

We played at Seven Lakes this year, it was a beautiful course and we played well. The food on the turn was complimentary which we thought was a great touch. We will be coming back next year, We travel to the sandhills every year and have been for twenty years.
