Beauiful vistas and round of golf

Lovely course and not that expensive. The best part is walking the hills and seeing the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina surround you.

As you might expect, the course itself is very hilly. I don't recall a flat spot anywhere. The views are beautiful and the course is in great shape. Playing for the first time is difficult as many shots are blind and the fairways steeply angled. I don't play frequently so it was difficult for me. I would have given the... More

We looked forward to re-visiting this mountain course for eight years, but were disappointed. The best part of the course were the greens, well manicured and challenging. Tee boxes were weedy and scruffy. The fairways were soggy and long. Excluding the greens, play was akin to playing in a pasture. Very disappointing to what once was a beautiful, challenging course.

we enjoyed the course itself, the views are spectacular, and the round of golf was only $30.00. but the fairways & tee boxes were torn up, the traps had no sand and it was frustrating unless you drove onto the green...

I have been playing this course for 15 years now and it's seen it's ups and downs through the years as it has changed hands - now owned and managed by Warrior Golf. While the conditions had deteriorated a few years back, there seems to be a concerted effort to bring the course back to it's former standards. Originally constructed... More

Greens are in great shape, beautiful scenery. Tired clubhouse, patched parking lot, awful cart paths. Nice driving range. Food in grill barely edible.

I was traveling for work & met up with my buddies for a round of golf. Reems Creek is a great track with beautiful scenery. The layout is challenging & the greens are in great shape. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

I have played this course occasionally over the past 2 decades and most recently this Father's Day. While it is very picturesque and remains challenging, the upkeep is not what it once was and nuisances like non-working, on-the-course bathrooms and only 1 functioning water cooler in 18 holes are disappointing. But this is balanced somewhat with RCGC's value. Eighty bucks... More

I played at Reem's Creek in late June and the course was in good shape. The fairways were a little wet, probably from watering. The greens were fantastic. They held nicely and rolled very true. The bunkers could use some attention. They were hard dirt and had no sand. Overall it was a fun course to play. It is a... More

I can't get enough of this great layout! It is a very interesting layout. The condition of the course has vastly improved over the past few years. If you don't feel like playing, you can go to the restaurant, get a great sandwich, and a hearty drink, sit on the patio and enjoy the million dollar views. Hartwell Baker is... More
