We bought our tickets on line for Jesus Christ Superstar. Printed them out on line and it was as easy as that ! Arrived, found our seats and enjoyed the afternoon. The theater is relatively small, not a bad seat in the house. The talent was superb. In the very near future they will be opening another theater on the... More

This remains a hidden gem in the mountains. The performances are superb. The actors are good enough to be on Broadway. We are so lucky to have this cultural experience in our midst. One annoying issue needs to be addressed. The headphones for the hard of hearing, have a bright red light directly on the top center. Sitting behind someone... More

The HART Theatre is truly an anomaly of culture in a small rural, mountain town. Performances are surprisingly good and attract actors and other talent from hours away. Designed by architect Senator Joe Sam Queen, the theatre is simply, but beautifully designed with a warm, wooded cabin feel. HART Stage II theatre is almost complete and will enable the theatre... Went to the theater last week and saw the Play "Weir". They did an amazing job for a play with no set changes, no costume changes and no intermissions. The cast was entertaining and went non stop for 1 1/2 hours. If I was a local, I would be a regular customer!

The Haywood Arts Regional Theater is a high quality place. It was a highlight of my time in Waynesville. It is a small and intimate place so you feel so close to the action. I saw The Weir and before the show we were allowed on stage to buy a drink at the bar set. It was really neat being... More

Saw a local musical here. It was well done, and the performers were very good. Live band on stage. Facility is not large - I would estimate it holds ~250. Don't worry about a bad seat. Friendly ticket office; attentive local crowd; set in a beautiful valley. An addition is under construction next door.

Seen most of the performances this season and so impressed with the quality of the entire ensemble. Cast, orchestra, lighting, sets, and a great group of talented actors. Will continue to see the rest of the plays and musicals throughout the 2015 season. We are blessed to have this in Haywood County!
