My son was there to perform on open mike night. He recited Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven. Listened to a guitarist play and sing familiar tunes, and ended with a one man comedy show. The Turnage also offered free family movie nights.

The Turnage is a real success story due to the wonderful restoration and additions over the years. No matter what time of year, it is abuzz with events, meetings, seminars, concerts and other activities. Beautiful and historic venue.

This place has been in Washington since the early 1900's and is wonderful and comfortable inside. Totally worth a visit, and the list of upcoming events are listed outside and on the internet, so you can always know whats happening.…
