Visited the Maropeng Visitor Centre at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. Was very impressed with the facility and layout. Found it to be world class. Navigating through the waters and entering the exhibition centre was the highlight. The material was well presented and...More

This museum was amazing in the layout, an interactive cave cutout where you could see how narrow the cave entrances are, the information, the videos, and the overall research being done. I wish I had spent more time here to really soak it all in!

This is really a world class exhibition and experience not to be missed by locals and our tourists visiting Gauteng. The people are all very friendly and helpful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, energetic and could answer the questions posted to him. The boat...More

Decided to try something different. Exhibit was informative. Most the displays were colourful. The boat ride was the best for me. I think in summer when everything is green it will be very pretty.

This was an amazing end to a combination tour of the Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng Centre. The exhibition at the caves would have been better suited here and compliment the visitors centre. Nevertheless, it is still an really great visit!

We visited this on our 30 day tour of the area. It's not something we would normally do, but it wasn't expensive. It's interesting to read about the fossil discovery and how we as humans developed. It is certainly somewhere I would take children, as...More

It is more like a theme park therefore it is the perfect place to come with kids for stimulating their curiosity for the sciences. For the adults, you will find new perspectives on known things. Besides you will see the recently discovered bones of a...More
