This was a great museum for such a small town. Many artifacts from WWII and Vietnam. There were many photos of local veterans on the walls. The two hosts were very nice and had a lot of knowledge. I wish we had more time to spend there.

We accidently found this museum while visiting some antique shops in Tarboro. What a find!!! A small museum dedicated to the veterans associated with Edgecombe County, NC. There were 2 Marine veterans who were manning the museum, one was 94 years young, and both seemed very excited to give us a tour and answer any questions that we had. Lots of guns, uniforms, military pictures, newspaper articles and pictures of hundreds of Edgecombe County veterans were hanging on display noting their rank, years of service and service branch. We spent about an hour checking things out. No admission charge but they do take donations. We definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area, you won’t regret it!!! Their website says they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 AM – 4 PM
