You really should visit here. The playground is really nice for kids, and there are some fun wooden dock walkways where you can look down and see fish/wildlife.

Just a very beautiful clean park. Perfect for picnics or playing with the little ones. Quite peaceful and relaxing.

This park has several wooden walkways that go out over the water. You can fish off the walkways also. There are public bathrooms available. Nice view of the new bridge and you could also watch the old swing bridge from these walkways. Nice perk - there's a Little Library in the park where you can "take a book - leave a book". …

We come here in the early mornings to walk before it gets crowded. Many people come to exercise their dogs. There is a playground for kids, and also a boat ramp. The park includes restrooms as well.

Please note, if you are reading older reviews, the playground has all new equipment as of the beginning of November 2019! My family stopped here to let the kids run off steam before making our long journey home from the beach. We're glad we did! It is a great little playground with scenic views of the bay and the Surf City Bridge. The brand new play equipment is quite interesting, with a variety of climbing areas (sailing ship themed), spinners, spring dolphins, and so on. We love the spinning orb cage thing, and even us parents took a turn in it! There are clean, accessible bathrooms close by, picnic tables & a pavilion (I don't recall seeing grills), plenty of free parking, and even a cute little free library box! Stop here on your way in or out from your beach vacation as we did to let your kids stretch their legs, or as a diversion from the regular beach activities. Also, right nearby is the Surf City Bridge, with a separated walking area to take in the views of the bay.…
