We were very impressed by this park. First of all, it's waterfront, so it's naturally a beautiful place. They have a great little playground for the kids, covered picnic areas, and lots of Boardwalk type paths. We enjoyed watching the boats dock, watching the swing bridge nearby operate, and most of all, we loved seeing all of the various wildlife.... More

My 3 yr old daughter kept asking to go to the playground so we decided to check this one out. It's a pretty pack. The playground is small. The climbing stations/slides were very high, meant more for older children. The walking bridge across the sound was beautiful. My daughter enjoyed watching crabs and fish in the water. It's a very... This park has a nice play ground area, as well as a board walk with a great view of the bridge. It was fun to hear the bridge sound before it spun around to let boats through. The board walk had great views of aquatic life-crabs, oysters and fish could be seen along the way.

The park is a nice break from the beach. It's got a great view of the sounds, draw bridge, and passing boats. It was full of families enjoying themselves.

Very well laid out with playground, walkways, piers, restrooms and large area for children to run and enjoy themselves. One of the nicest park's I've ever seen in a small beach town. You could tell their plans were really thought out with families in mind.

This is a great place to have a picnic or launch your boat into the Sound. The restrooms are always clean and the sunsets are gorgeous.

We visited this park on our way to Topsail Beach. We came into town early and wanted to spend our morning at the beach while we waited on our hotel room. We stopped here to change into our swimsuits. This would also make a nice place to have a family picnic.

Came last August with my husband and 7 kids to stay at Jolly Roger. Kids couldn't have had a better time. This darling Lil park gave the kids a break from the water (they were getting waterlogged lol) and filled their afternoon with good old fashioned fun. We'll be back in 3 wks for more of the same. Loved the playground and the boardwalk. Very scenic and relaxing. Makes me wish we had brought a fishing pole.
