So I play here religiously and have for over 15 years. Courses good and bad go through their issues. While the staff was a GREAT as ever....the course was not. Brown Brown BRown with greens that were in bad shape. I love the place so...More

Played Tigers Eye yesterday May 21. Course is in bad shape. All fairways and tee boxes burnt out. Greens are bumpy. Overall a big disappointment and way overpriced for the condition.

Nicer clubhouse than Leopard's Chase. Course conditions were pretty decent for early April, though the greens got bumpy and "untrue". Enjoyed a good lunch in the clubhouse grill. Definitely would consider playing again if I returned to North Myrtle.

Allen, in the pro shop, was helpful, friendly. Made us fee like we were friends. The course was in great shape for early spring. The tee boxes were green and lush. The fairways were in very good shape minimal bare spots. The greens were hit...More

The new greens have come in nicely. A couple of spots still to go but the Bermuda grass is just coming out of its dormancy so shouldn't be long. New sand being put in most of the green side bunkers so they are much improved...More

Hard to find anything wrong with the golf course or the grille. Both are really Ist class all the way, they don't settle for second best here. Beautiful views, lush fairways and smooth as silk greens. I do have a problem with communication as I...More

I completely agree with Chilibama's review. Contrary to Bill Long's response, this course experiences such brownness for most of the summer - since I live here and rare (if ever) see the fairways watered, I assume that it is not the pre-emergent that is causing...More

I understand and appreciate your concern regarding the color of the fairways over the last couple of weeks, but I would disagree that the courses were brown all summer. We had the most rain in recorded history for the period from May through July 2018...More

It has been about eight years since I last played Tiger's Eye but knew it had a great layout, fairly easy course but fun to play. I had read the reviews on TripAdvisor before my recent golf trip and they all mentioned the large amount...More

We apologize we were not able to provide you with the conditions you expected on your most recent visit. The course was definitely quite brown for a few days during this period. One major factor is the lack of rain in the month of August....More

I think this would be a great place to play if the course was in better shape. The course literally had standing water on the tea boxes, fairways and sand traps. If you could find an area that didn’t have standing water it was mud....More

Thank you for your review of your recent visit to Tiger's Eye. It is definitely VERY wet everywhere in our region right now. We shattered the record rainfall for the period from May-July and it still has not stopped raining! The ground in our area...More

We knew the greens at Tiger’s Eye were still suffering from the winterkill, but they may not be back completely until 2019. The layout is superior—more like Pinehurst than the typical MB course.More

Thank you for the review! Tiger's Eye is definitely a great layout. Though the greens at Tiger's Eye are now light years improved from the winterkill that damaged so many local courses this past winter and spring, they still have some spots that need to...More
