Meh
Nov 2018 • Solo
We ordered a take out order - easy... burgers with a side salad. The person taking our order kept trying to cut me off and get me off the phone. She finally took the complete order and said “Give us 15 minutes”. Ok. 25 minutes later I show up- there were 4 people in the entire place. But my orders were still not ready. I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes and then they forgot to give me the coleslaw that went with the meal. No ketchup, utensils, or even napkins. Sub par. I’ll go someplace outside of St James next time.

Open for drinks and food
Aug 2018 • Couples
One does have to be a member or guest of one to eat here.
After the recent kitchen rebuild the food is much better.

Superb Wedding Reception
Oct 2016 • Couples
The Members Club was a wonderful site to hold a wedding reception. The wait staff was extremely attentive and the grounds were beautiful. The dining room easily held 150 people plus a dance floor. The separate bar area was an excellent space to hold the first part of the welcoming reception and then a perfect respite for getting away from the louder dance/dining area. I think it would be perfect for any party type activity.

Challenge Your Mind and Swing
Aug 2016 • Couples
A P.B. Dye layout that will challenge your mind as well as your swing. Every hole on the back 9 will get your attention, and the last 3 holes on the front are particularly difficult. The last 3 holes on the back run along the intracoastal and are quite beautiful. 15 is a monster par 4 - if you hit it right down the middle you will end up in sand or water - left center only please! They've had problems with disease on the greens this year, and struggle with drainage sometimes, but worth it anyway. Classic strong southerly winds come up late in the day can increase the difficulty. Whites are about 5900, sounds short right? Ha! Unless you are a single digit handicapper don't get macho about your tee choice. Plenty of water, sand and misdirection. Most interesting layout at St. James.

Nice atmosphere, Good food!
Mar 2015 • Couples
My husband and I rented a condo in St. James Plantation for the month of March for the purpose of exploring the area. We have been eating out quite a bit. We decided to visit The Members Club one evening on a week day. Service was good. Atmosphere very nice. Gluten free option of of shrimp scampi was offered. Linguine and shrimp sitting in an artichoke bowl. Very delicious! Price was average. Great place to eat, great atmosphere.

Good food and nice atmosphere
Dec 2014 • Family
This is a very nice facility. The food is good albeit fairly expensive. Don't expect a big piece of meat or fish, but the pasta servings are fairly large. The salads are fresh and the dressings are good. St. James is a gated community so you will need to know someone to get in. I believe you can get a pass at the gate, but you'll need to check before going. They have nice bar and drinks are pretty reasonable. Their selection of single malt scotch is fairly limited. It is a good place to meet friends and have a nice evening out.

Bring Your A Game!
Aug 2013 • Family
This is a Pete Dye creation and anyone who plays the game knows he or she will be in a battle. There are short, very tricky holes, and extremely long ones, wth typical lightening speed om the greens. There is one green so large that there is a sprinkler head in the middle of it! But its fun with a nice clubhouse and landscaping. Keep your expectations low and you will enjoy the experience.

Great Course and Challenging
Jul 2013 • Couples
A true links course with beautiful views across the marshland to the Intercoastal. Elevated greens will test your ability to land a ball and plenty of other challenges on the course.
