Stopped in on a visit to the Riverwalk in Southport. It is a nice museum with lots of interesting information on this Historic Coastal Community. They had many well presented artifacts and the Periscope is a fun addition. We enjoyed our visit!

This is a great little museum and best of all it is free. They have great artifacts and several hands on exhibits, we all enjoyed the periscope that lets you view the other areas around Southport.

My husband and I had a lot of fun exploring and learning in this small museum. It has an operating periscope which is really neat and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed learning the history of North Carolina and Southport specifically.

A very good museum for a small-seaport town. Kids tour the museum with a scavenger hunt type guide. Our grandkids were fascinated by the displays.
