The Sunrise has been in town for many years as a theater but has been remodeled and offers special events from movies to plays to live bands. It's a neat place to go in downtown Southern Pines.

Great to have a local theater that has independent movie showings, along with some live ballet and cinema showings. What a gem, with fresh popcorn and real butter, wine and beer....WOW. We love to sit in the balcony.

What an icon of southern pines. The theater exudes history and that wonderful small town feel. The prices are so fair, the popcorn freshly made and not costing a mortgage payment. A plus...they serve wine and beer. Our favorite move place. We would rather support...More
