This was an excellent find of a course. I would recommend strongly. Put it on your agenda. The longest 6,000 yards you'll ever play! And funnest too. Course in great condition . Bent grass greens true.

This is a best kept secret. If you are on a golf package with a group, this is well worth the stop. Unique but in nice shape always. This golf course will have you using every club in your bag. Not a country club or resort atmosphere, but a great layout to play. Extremely friendly staff as well.

The course was in very nice shape and the staff was very friendly. The fairways are very forgiven but the trees will challenge even the good putters.

Easy to tell they put most of their effort in to the golf course. No frills golf, but really pure old school design. If you're looking for a fancy clubhouse, grill, etc not the place. Fun layout, good condition, inexpensive golf this is for you.

Just returned from a 4 day trip to the Pinehurst area with 11 golfers. This was our first time in the area as we normally go to Myrtle Beach. We relied on the golf packager to arrange our itinerary and he really nailed it with Southern Pines. He billed it as a great value course and while it's certainly not... More

Played this course after Mid Pines. It was in great shape (January). Greens were excellent. A notch below MidPines, but solid choice. Clubhouse reminds me of old muny course.

This is a Donald Ross course That has been let go as the upkeep had not been here. Facilities very limited as this does not cost much to play and if you play you will see this. Does have unique holes for the Ross followers but the lack of upkeep is a bit of a turn off. The used to... More

Tried Sunday breakfast there Just bacon eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were out of a box not sliced and fried fresh. Lot better places for breakfast in Southern Pines.
