The Southern Pines VFW Post 7318 is VERY FRIENDLY and has a GREAT ATMOSPHERE! They recently underwent a million dollar upgrade and made the post Wheel Chair accessible and available for all disabled. My Dad used to attend the post while he was alive and I am proud to be attending it too, now. The post bartenders are SUPER FRIENDLY and nice!! Can't say enough about them! The post is clean and elegant. It's my favorite VFW post in the UNITED STATES. I live in Hampton, Virginia and ours isn't even as nice!! GREAT JOB on the remodeling and disability accessibility!! You guys are phenomenal!! Can't say enough about this post!!!

This place will amaze you. It is as nice as I’ve ever seen in a VFW. The bartenders are super friendly. The clientele are mostly retired military folks. This is a great place to watch a football game and enjoy a cold beer.

This is the premier VFW for NC. It is the perfect example of what a VFW should look like. It is clean and modern. This is better than most sports bars in the area. The staff are friendly and the patrons are great old vets.

Well the building itself is very nice and clean.
I have been here two different times and have not been impressed with the environment or the patrons of the establishment. Apparently unless you are a regular they don’t pay to much mind to anyone else that is a new face that comes in and its very uncomfortable.
Most VFWs I have been to in my travels are friendly and want to try to recruit you to join their establishment especially if you are local to the area. Apparently having new folks and potential new regulars are not what they are looking for.
Also a side note the sign they have posted on the door pertaining to service dogs is illegal in their wording because Legally there are no licenses or certifications required for service dogs period. Please read up on the ADA if you do not know this. Regardless of them being a private club they can legally deny a service dog but if they allow them they are to obey the laws of the ADA just like everyone else and business out there. Also you can still be sued just like everyone else just FYI. Note I had no issues with having my service dogs in this establishment. The sign needs to be changed to reading service dogs only nothing about licensing or certification. After serving 20 years in the Army and being a lifetime member of the VFW since 2004 it saddens me that the environment wasn’t as welcoming as the other reviews read apparently they were regulars that wrote that.

Great place to come for friendship with other veterans of foreign war. Huge inside for a VFW post. They do not serve food except for on Friday nights. Friday nights are great times and usually include a terrific dinner at a very discounted price.
