Rivers Edge continues to be one of my favorite courses in the greater Myrtle Beach area. My family and I have visited more than ten times during summer vacations. The layout is one of my all-time favorites with challenging, but fair holes. The number of holes along the Shallot River are gorgeous and interesting. The staff is friendly and my... More

Very challenging course. Just enough water and sand to keep it interesting. Nice practice range, putting green could be a little more. Overall, I love playing River's Edge.

The course is in great shape. greens were replaced last summer and are rolling unbelievable. Sand traps are OK and hopefully will replaced in the future. Jeff and Sebastian at the Pro Shop are great guys and extremely helpful. If visiting the beach at anytime and want to play golf, Rivers Edge is the place. The signature hole ( #... More

This is a beautiful course with several Wow holes. Special thanks to Seb Beecroft for tempting us there with a very competitive green fee.

Debatable the best time here was sitting out on the club lounge patio and watching golfers come in on the final hole right alongside the swamp/river/causeway. Many splashes and drop zones!

MGoBlueBoy, Thank you for compliments. Our patio is definitely one of the highlights of the day here at Rivers Edge. It is not odd for guests to sit and watch players come in throughout the afternoon. There have been many cheers and groans from the crowd during these moments and let's not forget the added pressure on the players coming... More

The clubhouse looked like it was built 20 years ago and never maintained. Neglected golf course. Steep side edges of bunkers have collapsed, fairway grass very inconsistent in quality. Great scenery surrounding the course, it's too bad the course is not maintained.

Martha M, Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time here at Rivers Edge. We have not had any negative feedback from this Spring season so your comments come as a bit of a surprise. To address your post, yes the club is coming up on its 17th year, however, we are very proud of our product and... More

Been playing this course since 2007 and have seen it go through several changes: management, fairways and especially the greens and can honestly say this is the best it's ever been. I know they changed their management company and hired a new head pro a few years ago. Last summer they closed and changed their greens and I believe they... More

We started on the back nine. That meant we faced down hole #9 as our last hole of the golf vacation. Tough tough hole. To describe it wouldn't give it justice. The course on a whole was good. Preferred Tidewater and True Blue, but it was better than the Cat Courses in terms of condition, layout etc.

Great Palmer design golf course. Very few know of it outside the circle of Myrtle Beach but it is truly a surreal experience. Twists and turns with many blind shots leave the novice golfer scratching their head. Even experienced golfers have difficulty on the finishing holes per 9.
