Worth your time
Jul 2019
Very interesting place. The owner, Carolyn, will make you feel welcome. She has venders, with a wide variety of pre-owned items. You’ll never know just what treasures you might find while walking through the rows of stuff.
If you find yourself in Selma, a trip there will be memorable.

Best of thrifting with a bonus of getting to enjoy time with animals! Love!
Aug 2019 • Solo
I stumbled on this place doing a search for antiques/consignments on Google Maps. I had the BEST time wandering through this establishment and meeting and petting the wonderful animals inside -- sweet cats and dogs! Knowing these special babies are safe and happy, and you can shop and help them by doing so just made my normal 'thrifting' exceptional today! I've read some of the other reviews (the low rated ones), and apparently those people missed the point of the market -- it's helping animals. If you love animals and you love thrifting, you'll love it! I actually texted pictures of the animals I met back to my husband at home, and now I'm planning a visit to take him! The place is enormous and has anything you could ever want. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

Everything but the kitchen sink!

Loved all the eclectic items in this place - your could find just about anything and for very reasonable pricing. We left with a number of really great artwork. Can't wait to make the trip again.

I was left speechless
Jun 2019 • Couples
I was intrigued by the description of the building and was looking forward to finding something unique. I was very disappointed, the place smells horrible, like animal waste. Over priced items, nothing really worthwhile :(

A Great place to Shop
May 2018 • Solo
I love this place you can find lots of bargain's and some of the Best People . I always enjoy myself here and the fact that the owner dose so many wonderful things for the animals that are abandoned and left to fend for themselves. This woman cares for them. and is putting in a lot of Her income to feed and shelter them! till homes are found for them. if you like Country People and love Animals and a Big Market full of all kinds of thing's then this is the place to go. I am so glad I found this place and have been going here for a long time .....come on a Shopping trip you will make some friend's both Furry and Human Jake Ellis.

Great Place to find hidden treasures
Apr 2018 • Solo
I went there for the first timeliest year and have gone back on numerous occassions to see the treasures that seem to be hiding in every nook and cranny. Yes there are dogs and cats around but the owner is wonderful and takes great care of the animals and has them all spayed and neutered. I have found many treasures there and continue to find more every time I go

Picker Heaven
May 2018 • Solo
Visited Selma Cotton Mill travelling north on I-95 from Florida to Virginia. This was a picking trip and I rented a hi top cargo van for the trip. Selma Cotton Mill did not disappoint! Filled a good part of the van with amazing primitives, architectural salvage, farmhouse wares and one of a kind finds! Raylene and her family were very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable and the authentic atmosphere was great! This is an old cotton mill, folks! High ceilings, huge old beams, natural lighting, a building full of history preserved in its original state. If you go, wear casual clothes- don't be afraid to get a little dusty- this is a true pickers paradise! Not for ladies in high heels and pearls, but Selma Cotton Mill is a gem of a shop! I will definitely be back for more treasures!

Too crowded, too messy, too cold
Mar 2018 • Solo
No heat, packed too haphazardly. Prices are high end for what condition things are. Not the place for shiny condition things. Scratched, rusted and busted, this is the place. Orginization, cleaning, temperature control and more lighting would do a world of good.

Antiquated but not very clean
May 2017 • Family
The establishment has an educational history as being an old cotton mill. The mill has been replaced as a flea market type business with some nice antiques such as furniture, fixtures and old childrens' toys. However, dogs and cats (of owners, not customers) are allowed to roam freely throughout the building. So there is animal hair and a stench in different areas. I would recommend go prepared to encounter the animals but you may just find a treasure from times past.
