Lots of fun on a hot day!

The water was cool, the scenery beautiful on a hot sunny day. The water was a bit rough in a few spots which was fun for some and a bit scary for others. It took about 3 hours... read more

This is an awesome place!! if you love adventure and the outdoors you will love it! If your not an outdoor person, or your not comfortable with being on a river it's not for you. If you want a lazy river experience where you just float along and there are life guards to help keep you safe then you should... More

Tubing on the Green River with Green River Cove Tubing was fantastic. I'd come every day if I could. The river was beautiful and fun. There were rapids and fast spots, but nothing scary, and there were slow lazy spots. The staff was friendly and helpful. The people on this site who gave it a bad review must have never... More

We were expecting more staff available, the place is practically self serving, poor or non directions or help for non expert like us. My daughter got stuck at the beginning and I had to swim back to pull her free, stressful at the least. At the end of the 3 mi ride there is no signal or any staff waiting... More

The water was cool, the scenery beautiful on a hot sunny day. The water was a bit rough in a few spots which was fun for some and a bit scary for others. It took about 3 hours from start to our return to the car. The only problem was they did not warn us of a dangerous fork in... More

My family and I decided to go tubing while on vacation in the mountains. We found Green River Cove tubing on a website that listed fun things to do in Lake Lure so we thought we'd give it a try. Boy was that a mistake! The website DOES NOT say that their are level 1 and 2 rapids you go... More

There are two difference experiences here: When the dam is open the higher run is also open with more rapidly moving water it is a two hour run back down to your car area, if you love the water, like I do, go for the four hour run. On the 4 hour run (only when the dam is open can... More

Let me get this out of the way first, all the negative reviews were written by people who either have little to no experience on the river or blame the tubing company for their actions. I kayak here frequently, it's an easy river. The rapids are not too fast and most people are friendly. Green River Cove is one of... More

My kids (ages 9 & 11) and I have tubed twice with this company. We've tubed both the upper and the lower sections of this river and have thoroughly enjoyed both. Because this river is tubed/rafted on a dam release schedule, the water levels vary somewhat and the current is pretty strong. This is NOT a lazy river, but it... More

I've been tubing the Green River with this company for 3 years, and I have no complaints. This is NOT a lazy river, as there are several stretches of rapids which can be tricky on a tube. The lower half of the river is rougher in my opinion. The water is released from Lake Summit, and is cool, but it... More

I will start with the positives : staff was extremely friendly, as were other tubers. Bathrooms were clean, and the scenery was beautiful. Now on to the negatives. My husband and I decided to take our first tubing trip without our kids to see how it would go and to have a day date. We chose the 2 hour trip... More
