The man who was explaining the ghost stories used to be a pastor at the local church there. He really knew his stuff and was very entertaining. He was very nice and let us take our time to get pics or just look around awhile. Highly recommend this walk if you want to know the ghost history of Salisbury,NC

Not only did we learn about ghosts and their history, we learned a ton of history about Salisbury! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. My husband and I had a blast and I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about historic Salisbury! 10/10

We had an amazing time learning some of Salisbury’s town history and doing a little ghost hunting as well. I even captured a shadow figure using my phone camera. I went in as a skeptic and was surprised by what I captured. We loved our tour guide. He seemed very knowledgeable and I felt totally safe. Overall we loved the tour.

John is an amazing tour guide! This was so much fun! I enjoyed learning more of the history of the town I grew up in. John was very respectful of those who have passed and shared their wonderful stories. I felt like I slipped back in time with his ability to tell stories.

I enjoyed learning the history of Salisbury. I enjoyed the stories and walking around downtown seeing the places they’ve investigated. I do feel like the history is white washed and I felt like the tour is not very respectful of the dead. It feels very much for entertainment like a freak show. I feel like the tour needs more empathy for the spirits who are stuck.

The stories of a town I lived in for 17 years was fascinating. I am very skeptical of Ghost, a little less now. In the picture below I can’t explain the distortion and why you can’t see my upper body. This tour was just as much about history. My wife loves these tours and I go. This was the best one now (Charleston Prison had been my favorite).

My family had so much fun! We loved hearing all the history along with the tales of ghosts. John was absolutely fantastic...professional, fun, and informative. All 3 of our teenagers were enthralled and had a great time learning and exploring!

Pastor John was a great guide on the Salisbury Ghostwalk. We really enjoyed learning the history of Salisbury while walking the downtown area. He made it very family friendly while not taking away from the stories he told.

Having the opportunity to use EMF detectors to see if you get any response was my favorite part. This is my second time on the ghost walk. The first time we didn't get to do that. I enjoy the historic information which goes back to the Revolutionary and Civil Wars.

We had a fantastic time on this ghost tour. It included great history and stories of ghosts at locations throughout downtown. Pictures and videos were encouraged and we did see a few things we couldn't explain. Our guide was interesting and interactive with the group. Well worth the money (it wasn't expensive!). Ended at the Bell Tower Greens, a beautiful park in downtown Salisbury.

Are there any provisions for the handicapped? Do you actually go into several houses during the tour? Would a wheelchair be acceptable on the tour?

it is a walking tour around the centre of Salisbury so if you are in a wheelchair you would be able to enjoy the tour , if you were less mobile it might be challenging. you do not enter any buildings but you enter a courtyard of a pub .

The walk is typically an hour to an hour and a half, from what I understand, but the guide was willing to go longer because everyone in our group was very interested and engaged. It was really nice to have a guide who enjoyed what he was doing so much that he took additional time. Our walk began at 8:30, and we finished around 10:30.
