I recently visited this park on vacation in Salisbury, NC. Very clean, and organized. A lot to do to keep yourself and small children entertained. I have never been to a park that has a merry go round and a train. Nice lake to paddle boat in, or just sit and feed the ducks. Worth the time to go.

I've been several times during my adult and childhood, recently I went my family. It wasn't the same as it once was. Everything looks old and like it could be updated. Many of the staff members were rude or unhelpful.

A park with activities and choices for a variety of people, something for any age group. I walked around the park and saw the animals, went panning for gems. A great place for group picnics. Don't forget to stop by the breathtaking carousel! Sometimes I just take the dog and play.

This neat little park has many attractions that will entertain smaller kids...zoo, train ride, carousel, splash pad, playground, lake etc. Everything is very reasonable. Most things are $1.00 per person so spending an afternoon there won't break the bank.

We camp here three or four times a year and always enjoy it. There are lots of things for kids to see and do and if you don't want to do much you can just take a leisurely stroll around the lake on their well maintained path. The people are always super friendly and I highly recommend this park and... More

I had my first birthday here 26 years ago under one of the shelters and hadn't been back since. So I brought my 3 & 4 year old here for a visit while we were in NC. The price for rides and exhibits were excellent. The kids loved it so much we visited twice in our 5 day stay. Definitely... More

Took a friend out there and we enjoyed watching the ducks. If we had time we would have rented a paddle boat. We were too old to enjoy most of the things but I truly can see what a well mantained place it was for a family with small children.

Very peaceful setting. The only real issue I see is that they constantly seem to be understaffed. May also want to consider adding new attractions or renovating existing ones.

This park offers a great variety of activities for all ages. The putt-putt course is very fun. They also have a full size carousel and a miniature train that you can ride through the woods. The prices are very reasonable for people looking to do a lot on a little budget.
