We took our Grandson to see the attractions, but they were closed. I looked on the website before we left the house, and all it said was that the park was open. Scenery was pretty, though, and we intend to go back.

It's sad but in 40 years this is probably the best thing Salisbury has to offer other than the other Park system have like Hurley Park and Sloan. Especially awesome in summer. You will enjoy this trail system. Very nice for the families around here....More

We have camped at Dan Nicholas park many times. Good power to the sites, spaceous campsites with some lakeside spots. This is a great park for Mountain biking with many trails around the park.

It really is worth the trip to Dan Nicholas park. Carousel, miniature train, petting zoo, play grounds, paddle boats, mini-golf, lots of open areas for just 'wandering around'. Pack a lunch and spend the day!

Dan Nicholas Park is worth a day trip. Depending upon the season, the authentic antique carousel -- alone -- is priceless! The scaled- down train ride is perfect for youngsters and attending grownups. The animal exhibits are scientifically managed. Animal care is humane and part...More

I am not 100 percent sure, but I don't think you can. As for the swan or flamingo paddle boats, I have never seen any like that, all the paddle boats are the same, except for the color.
