Eltham North Adventure Park
Feb 2021
The playground is great for all ages. We took a bunch of teenagers here after visiting Edendale Farm just across the bridge and they love it. The flying fox was a hit as were the swings and long slides.
Park is well maintained and well away from main road so safe.
A short walk takes you along the river and also to Edendale Community Farm- spend a few hours exploring!

Walking with family
Mar 2020 • Friends
This Reserve is stunning! There is a wonderful children’s playground... gorgeous wide paths for walkers and bike riders... it runs along the edge of a creek.

But what makes it special for me is the memories- as a child I remember my Grandmother’s house being in the Reserve. I remember laughter , the friendly locals, the smell of the bush - this place will always be special for me.

AND today was no different- we met an older couple in the Reserve and reminisced about the community so many years ago. It’s a wonderful green space.

Great playground for everyone
Feb 2020 • Friends
The original playground was destroyed by fire in 2017 and with that, many hearts were broken with grief. This was the place for birthday parties, for after school gatherings, for picnics and waking the dog.
The new playground is fairly similar in design and the space from the previous playground but without the treated pine and somewhat dated wood. It opened in December 2018 with great delight to those who knew and loved the old one.
Plenty of undercover space for kids to play even in inclement weather plus there are an abundance of picnic tables and bbq’s for people to use.
So what’s on offer for the kids to play on. Well apart from the main structure, within that are incorporated a double flying fox which also has a seat for the disabled. Here are cute little sheds for kids to play post office and general store that are like cubbies, sand pots, swings, number of slides, climbing wall, water trough for sand play, spinners, commando climbing rope/wall plus a swing dedicated for dis sled people.
Being close to Edendale Farm, you can get real bang for your buck by visiting both in one day.
Also nearby are walking paths, bike paths and of course the massive grassy green oval that dog lovers enjoy to exercise their canines.
There is plenty of parking, abundance of toilets and water fountains.
This is a must visit playground any time of the week but on weekends it’s extra busy as it’s popular with young kids birthday parties.
Enjoy!

Everyone Loves It

Bring a rug find a place & claim it! You could easily be here for hours. Found I needed coffee & snacks. Perhaps a change of clothing as there is sand & water.... obvious magnet for kids. Awesome place but Ido wish people would not take their dogs even if they are on leads. Dogs pee, dogs scare some children

Great park for a birthday
Feb 2019 • Family
We have been going to this park for years but after the fire it was a little while before the playground was re-built. Now it is even better than it was before. A really great park for anyone.

Fun fun fun…

Even big kids can have fun at Eltham North Adventure Park. It's set back from the main rd which is great. You've got the shearing shed playground, the oval to play games on and an undercover BBQ area for picnics and bbqs. It's only a short walk to Edendale Farm. There is so much to do there...

So much fine with the kids
Mar 2017 • Family
Does it get much better than this for anyone under 90!?! I had a great time let alone the kids. Set up as a large place for play and all at the pricely sum of - Zero. Come along, bring your picnic and food and make a day of it.
There are ovals and walking tracks nearby and the large wooden / timber playground is a buzz with munchkins burning off energy.
You may find you lose your little ones because of all the little places then can hide and explore but they are safe.
There are covered bbq's. Beware of the European wasps in summer. If you like to be away from the crowds then park further away.
I just love the bush, the scenery, the dull tones of kids squealing with delight as they played, whilst myself and a few other parents watch on.
Wheelchair friendly. Toilets available. Heaps of parking but on weekends people have their kids birthdays here so if you want to get in early and secure a place - think about getting there at 9am.

Fun with grandkids!
Jul 2016 • Family
This reserve is the most fun kids can have for free, in this area. As well as surrounding ovals & walking tracks, the main feature is a large, 2 level timber playhouse. Lots of nooks & crannies to play hide & seek, slides, flying foxes, etc.
Also, quiet areas where kids & adults can simply sit and chat, & take in the local scenery - trees, park, creek, ovals.
Covered BBQ areas, heaps of parking. Toilets available. We took our kids there 20 years ago - now our grandchildren.
