A great little park. Lots of activities in a fenced playground. Very popular place. Bonus is the miniature railway that operates on Sundays and sometimes through the week in school holidays, fantastic

Pleasant atmosphere

The park is extremely convenient being close to the residential areas. For many decades the Diamond Valley Miniature railway has operated on weekends and public holidays. It is operated by volunteers and rides are very reasonably priced.

Birthday party in the park
Apr 2017 • Friends
The big kid of the family chose to have his 40th birthday here yesterday so we could ride the trains. 50 adults and a tribe of kids had the best fun kicking a football on the oval, riding the trains having pony rides and playing on the play equipment. Walking tracks dog exercise area and toilets make for a really great family venue.

The great outdoors - local style
Jan 2017 • Couples
A great place to explore with a number of walking and cycling paths. There is plenty to do for the kids with an amazing playground, the best in the area. There are also plenty of spots to take the pooch... note there are some restrictions on walking paths (would be interested to understand why dogs would not be allowed on leash???).

The weekends get pretty busy with families heading to the playground, the miniature trains and the miniature ponies.

If you have your own horse, there are some great options for riding around the park and local trails.

A good park to take kids or walk the dog
Nov 2016 • Family
A large park that takes about 1/2 hour to walk around. Dog friendly, so long as they are on a lead. There is a miniature railway that takes people across bridges and through tunnels, even as an adult I enjoyed riding on the train. The park also offers donkey rides for a small fee. There is a van that sells ice cream.

Fun for kids
Jun 2016 • Family
Ideal for little kids to play in the park and go for a ride on a mini train. Added bonus is the little ponies for a ride. Fun day for the little munchkins.

Great for Kids of all ages
Jun 2016 • Friends
The main attraction of this area is its expansive miniature train which runs through the whole of the Park and had quite a few tracks which are a genuine reproduction on a much smaller scale complete with miniaturised level crossing (Bells and control lights control of course). The young and young at heart love to sit astride the bench type seat resembling a carriage and travel through the bush, through tunnels and station with signs of great enjoyment being visible. The Railway is constantly expanding and the park offers picnic facilities, two sports grounds and a menage for horse riders,
