Been to Pindarie before and loved it but was so disappointed to go on a works xmas lunch and be totally ripped off for the privilege of sitting under the pepper tree. The group booking cost $35 per person and the offerings were shared platters. We all took our partners along and children (purchasing paninis for the children additionally) Having... More

We were delayed on our way to Barossa Valley and asked locals. They recommended Pindarie (we hadn't heard of them), we went, and we were delighted. Had the gourmet pies for lunch (chicken, rabbit and lamb - each one different, and each one delicious). Wines were simply excellent. The place is both charming and beautifully restored. Gorgeous views of the... More

The kids loved playing outside and on the straw bales. Food was excellent. We had pie - unfortunately the rabbit one was already finished and an excellent Shearer platter. There was a mix up with our order but the owner was very gracious in apology. Thank you.

Attended a long celebration here- with about 150 people. The catering was not done in house but was arranged by the winery and very nice and the staff there did very well serving drinks and keeping the hoards fed.

We arrived here after lunch for wine tasting, good variety to choose from. The view of the vineyard was superb as we were situated on the hill looking down at it. Great seating under the big shady tree, wonderful.

Recommendation from a local cafe that was great - wonderful location looking out over vineyards. Friendly and engaging wine tasting, lovely shared tasting plate and relaxing atmosphere.

Had a great time with beautiful food and awesome wine. Home made beef pies were cooked beautifully and was recommended a lovely sparkling white (my favorite). After lunch went for a walk around the property and got some lovely photo's.

Been here several times. Gorgeous place and views. Kid friendly too. The giant haystack is a winner! The saltbush lamb pie is amazing and so are the wines.

Pindarie is the best winery we stopped at in the Barossa. Location, landscape, architecture, customer service, and product were AMAZING! Wrap arpund verandah and open fire provided a warm country atmosphere, coffee and food made with local produce provided a homely welcoming vibe with owner operator providing a personalised experience. Wonderful for a honeymoon stop!

Called in for a quick wine tasting and stayed for lunch in front of the open fire with a magic view in the background. Nice wine, friendly service and yummy saltbush lamb pies. Beautiful old buildings and a lot of charm. You miss out if you don't visit.
