Langmeil Winery offers guests a relaxing friendly place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and child friendly, tables and chairs to enjoy your Cheese Box on a platter (or takeaway) with some of the yummy wines from the lovely staff at Cellar Door. Special back vintage tastings for $50 a person (bookings essential) in the Freedom Cellar and if the weather permits a vineyard tour also, showcasing old gnarly Shiraz vines believed to be the oldest in the world. The old Blacksmiths workshop and stables speaks the history of ole Langmeil Village. There is something for everyone at Langmeil Winery.

Liked the setup as walked into the tasting room. Girls serving were chatty and fun (although I think one a little inebriated). Some of the wines were exquisite and bought two to take away (Jackman's can hardly be beat)

Lovely to hear you enjoy our Jackaman's Cabernet from our Lyndoch valley vineyard, thank you for your purchase. Our Cellar Door staff are certainly very cheerful and enjoy spending time with the customers - much more so than perhaps some other cellar doors (as our reviews reflect) and is likely why one appeared 'very cheerful' :). We look forward to... More

This was the first winery on our tour and was really lovely quaint winery. Great open fire and wines were nice. Outside had lots of outdoor seating and really peaceful and tranquil. Really good start to our winery tour

This was our first stop on a wine tour of the Barossa....and it was one of the best places of the day. The wines were lovely, it had a raging open fire that kept us warm and the staff were just delightful....well done to all the ladies at Langmeil.

You absolutely must try the Langmeil shiraz it's a cracker! the staff, Harmony & Nez were excellent hosts - they were fun, obliging and easy going. Wish we could have really settled in and had more time at this winery - it's a little gem!

This is a gorgeous winery using old restored buildings with loads of character. The wines are excellent and the staff are so friendly and dont pressure you into anything. They also told us to come back when we finished and the would package up all our wines and send them home for us which was a great service. Highly recommend... More

Spending a week in the Barossa and Clare Valleys we tried a punchy shiraz while dining at Fino's. The wine was a Langmeil's which made us add this winery to the next days touring. Arriving at Langmeil's we were greeted with two very welcoming smiles from the cellar door ladies. Their warmness and expertise in explaining the history of the... More

On a very wet and cold day, the open fire at Langmeil was a welcoming refuge. Smiling staff and a superb tasting room encouraged a number of sales! Wine tasting is about connection and engagement, not just the taste of the wine. Langmeil is the perfect Barossa ambassador, and it puts other wineries on notice to lift the standard of... More
