Langmeil Winery offers guests a relaxing friendly place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and child friendly, tables and chairs to enjoy your Cheese Box on a platter (or takeaway) with some of the yummy wines from the lovely staff at Cellar Door. Special back vintage tastings for $50 a person (bookings essential) in the Freedom Cellar and if the weather permits a vineyard tour also, showcasing old gnarly Shiraz vines believed to be the oldest in the world. The old Blacksmiths workshop and stables speaks the history of ole Langmeil Village. There is something for everyone at Langmeil Winery.

This was our first stop on a wine tour of the Barossa....and it was one of the best places of the day. The wines were lovely, it had a raging open fire that kept us warm and the staff were just delightful....well done to all the ladies at Langmeil.

You absolutely must try the Langmeil shiraz it's a cracker! the staff, Harmony & Nez were excellent hosts - they were fun, obliging and easy going. Wish we could have really settled in and had more time at this winery - it's a little gem!

This is a gorgeous winery using old restored buildings with loads of character. The wines are excellent and the staff are so friendly and dont pressure you into anything. They also told us to come back when we finished and the would package up all our wines and send them home for us which was a great service. Highly recommend... More

Spending a week in the Barossa and Clare Valleys we tried a punchy shiraz while dining at Fino's. The wine was a Langmeil's which made us add this winery to the next days touring. Arriving at Langmeil's we were greeted with two very welcoming smiles from the cellar door ladies. Their warmness and expertise in explaining the history of the... More

On a very wet and cold day, the open fire at Langmeil was a welcoming refuge. Smiling staff and a superb tasting room encouraged a number of sales! Wine tasting is about connection and engagement, not just the taste of the wine. Langmeil is the perfect Barossa ambassador, and it puts other wineries on notice to lift the standard of... More

This is one of the older cellar doors that has all the historical buildings refurbed, so you feel like you've gone back in time. The family have done up what looks like a little village and placed their tasting room at the back. You can sit outside under a vine covered trellis and enjoy a glass with a cheese platter... More

Being from the Barossa it's essential to have your go-to cellar doors to quickly pick up a great wine. I was very familiar with Langmeil but today was my first visit to the cellar door and boy was I impressed. The ladies were just lovely we felt very well looked after, and the wines... As expected. Brilliant. Thank you so... More

The ornamental grapevines growing on all the posts and pillars at this winery give it such a romantic feel, and on such a stunning autumn day, you couldn't help but feel a little bit lucky to be here. My husband and I loved every minute of our experience at Langmeil. From eating mulberries off the tree at the entrance (delicious!) to tasting the wines and chatting to the staff.
