This a bit out of the town but well worth the visit to see the cliffs and waves crashing onto the rocks. Car park is at the old goal ruin and great paths to walk around the area. A lookout on the right has great...More

After parking in the carpark, we walked along the pathway which followed the stunning coastline. It was a lovely sunny day and the sea was a beautiful blue colour. There were seats to sit and enjoy the lovely scenery and rocky outcrops. We did not...More

The obelisk is a Robe landmark, and well worth the short walk from the town. The paths are well laid out and maintained, and suitable for all abilities. The walk is by the sea edge, and the erosion of the soft limestone is very obvious...More

Cliff erosion has shut this place. After a lovely walk to see it you get there and it’s shut. Never mind the Obelisk is saved by nature. Simply stunning views abound

Easy to park and see and walks aplenty nearby for more views. You cannot visit the obelisk per say as the cliffs are dicey but can get close enough for pictures. A must see and can stay a while.

Walked from Robe town through the marina and around the pathway past the jetty to the obelisk and further to the new lighthouse. Was just over half an hour one way. The views are great of the limestone cliffs and the ocean. A must do...More

As part of the tourist drive, this section has nice views but the unmade sections of road need maintenance.

The Obelisk has stood on the western cliffs of Robe since 1855, both marking the approach to Robe (visible for more than 20km) and originally as a store for rockets used to fire lines over wrecked ships. The ravages of the sea progress slowly, but...More

Somewhat clownish looking but with good reason (visibility). A most impressive and functional erection located on a rugged outcrop of rock. A must see and quite close to town.

Yep, its ok. I mean, you can't actually go right up to the obelisk so you will have to look from afar. If you are bored and in Robe already it's nice to go there for a walk.
