This was a very impressive collection of the local mining history, everything well laid out and preserved and loaded with interesting information. Each room had a theme and every aspect of history covered. We were very impressed with this museum.

We had a fantastic time visiting the Mines Museum. Highly recommend the train ride beforehand - then a visit to the museum and surrounds!

We highly reccomend taking the tourist train around the old mine. It was very busy over the easter period but the very knowledgeable volunteers made the experience brilliant. Best attraction on the copper coast.

Gives a full perspective of the region and its history. The lady serving was very kind to let us role play in the classroom. Would recommend a visit.
