We visited Kies on a organised one-day Barossa tour. Very hospitable staff guided us through our wine tasting and the wines were great! It’s the first time I’ve been to a winery where I really liked every wine offered and purchased a mixed case to be sent home interstate for just $10. Monkey Nut Cafe for lunch hit the spot with tasty, delicious food. My new favourite winery!

We were welcomed for a group tasting without having a booking by a friendly, knowledgeable and engaging host. The wines were exceptional with a balanced variety catering for most palates. Attention paid to ensure each wine reaches full potential setting it apart from other wineries. Restaurant served great food, each dish was tastefully presented and was delicious. Quality and interested tea room selling beautiful mugs, cups and tea pots. Large variety of tea leaves for sale. Option available for a picnic on the grounds, selecting food and wine for your basket. We can’t wait to go back!

The charm of the place and the people welcomes you once you set foot into the door, it was as if we were locals and the conversations just went on like long lost friends. The wines were superb with layers of stories behind their origin coupled with other historical elements explains the staff. The only thing I wished was there was more souvenirs that I could buy to remind me of the place. If ever in the area you should drop by.

We had travelled from Perth and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kies Family Wines. We tasted some very lovely wines and our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines they were showing us. It was also really lovely to take a walk down to check out where the wine is stored. The food we ate was fantastic also. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

With visitors from UK we had a most enjoyable experience here. First of all the associated cafe serves excellent coffee. We enjoyed ours in the garden rotunda. The wine tasting was free and welcoming. The wines are very nice. We wish we had bought more. We particularly liked the white frontignac.

AMAZING!!! The wines were out of this world and Mandy was such an amazing hostess who juggled a very busy cellar door so well, always making time to answer our questions and was so charismatic! Will definitely be heading back up to Lyndoch to buy a few bottles again soon!

The winetasting experience was thoroughly enjoyable, thanks to the warm and friendly staff who provided helpful and wonderful recommendations. Their knowledge was evident as they understood my preferences, guiding me to try wines perfectly suited to my taste. The staff's expertise made the experience memorable, and I was so impressed that I almost wanted to take home every wine I sampled.

Kies create fantastic wines! A stop in for a tasting is highly recommended. The staff are lovely and very knowledgable and it is a great experience. There is a beautiful garden outside for kids to run and play as well which is a bonus 👍

Visiting Adelaide was my very first time We popped in for some testing and couldn’t help but to walk away with such a great buy. We love our port and that was fantastic deal we got . Great friendly stuff with great knowledge

This was a return visit to Kies winery, and it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we weren't rushed during our tasting. Also, our lunch at Monkey Nut Cafe was delicious, and the staff lovely. Highly recommend a visit!
