Had read a good review of Taste Eden Valley, and it surpassed expectations. Situated in Washington St. in the pretty village of Angaston, the business is located in a delightful old stone house. We were greeted warmly and ushered into a pleasant room where we were given many tastings of local wine - all of which could be purchased (we... More

Hi Bruce, So glad you selected Taste Eden Valley for a wine tasting while in the Barossa & sounds like you were well looked after. We have such a huge range of wines on offer which is a lot of fun but to educate our visitors on varieties, region, the individual vineyard and wine making takes it to another level.... More

We rented a tandem in Nuriootpa and headed out the bike path to Angaston. At the end of the path we found Eden Valley.  So happy we did! They offer at least 15 wines for tasting plus food if you're hungry or need to eat after all those generous pours. Michelle hosted us and she clearly knows the region and... More

Two friends of mine were over from Sydney lately so I played the tour guide and took them up to the Barossa. We hired bikes in Nuriootpa from Barossa Bike Hire and rode to Angaston. Taste Eden Valley had been recommended to us so this was our first stop. What a lovely place it is. The young lady serving us... More

Went to quite a few of the other wineries around the area, large and small and Taste Eden Valley was by far the best. We tasted quite a few of the boutique wines(I believe the list changes weekly) and loved so many of them. Was able to buy a huge variety(with free shipping back to Brisbane) and love the idea... Enjoyed a tasting here at the Taste of Eden. Very knowledgable staff and a good selection of small local wineries that might not have their own cellar door. If you want a break from the larger well known wineries in the area, stop by here.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor. Touring around the Barossa you come across so many iconic wineries and they are fabulous but 10 years ago we thought how about we put together a wine tasting room of the premium brands who are single vineyard and made in small production.....and here we still are.... Thanks to a tip from the Barossa Visitor Information Centre (Tanunda) we stopped at this well appointed venue. Our host was very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted and the region. We did not set out to come to this little place, but we're so pleased we did. Our host Pete was amazing and knows the wines of the area (and other areas for that matter) so well. We are so glad you did stop by, to experience the region along side so many single vineyard wines is an education in itself. Pete is highly skilled and well regarded in the industry and we are lucky he pops in at times. I know he enjoys it as much as you do - see you next time. More
