Travelled with 1770 liquid adventures at the beginning of my trip in Queensland and now may be spoilt for all other tours that I go on 😀 Perfect paddling conditions and some of the most beautiful scenery turning from day into an evening of gold and orange throughout the tour meant that I enjoyed every second of this trip. We were looking forward to our tour and I'm just so upset that it was such a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it for the following reasons. It is not good value for money. It is $55 each for the sunset kayak tour starting at 3pm. We were back by 5:45. Yes the sun had set but everyone knows... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience. We sincerely apologise that you found your trip so disappointing. This comes as quite a surprise to us, as it was a beautiful afternoon that day, with perfect weather conditions that should have made for a very enjoyable kayaking experience. Unfortunately, sometimes the wildlife just doesn't show... More

We did the sunset tour in a group of six. The guide was brilliant, explaining the history and landmarks of the area. We saw dolphins and turtles. You don't need to be really fit or have done kayaking before, the guide will help you with the basics and the group doesn't rush along. There are a few stops along the... More

We did the sunset tour and the family tour and they were both terrific. The sunset tour is just spectacular - something we will always remember. The family tour was also a huge hit with everyone in our large group. Simon and Janina are both brilliant guides and know so much about the local wildlife, flora and history. One of... More

Simon is your host and he does a great job, full of enthusiasm. The town of 1770 is one of the few places on the east coast of Australia where you can watch a sunset across the water, due to positioning of the headlands. Over about 2.5 hours, Simon takes you in two-person kayaks out toward the ocean and back,... More

The setting could not be better. It was very quiet -- we were the only ones there' We went on a Friday. Simon, our guide, was really good.

Did the sunset tour with my husband and two teenage sons. What an awesome experience! Water was calm and tranquil with a little bit of a thrill on the headland with some larger waves. Felt safe at all times. Great opportunity to spot wildlife like dolphins and the varied birdlife. Turtles were a no show but that's nature for you!... More

My boyfriend and I did the sunset kayak trip and really loved it. We are backpackers on a budget but it was definitely worth it. The free pick up option was really useful. We were in a small group and our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, making it a very personal experience. A fantastic way to see a stunning... More
